That amount looks to be a gram, and it would be up to the officer's discretion. Most likely for a 1st offense, you'd simply have it taken from you and get a ticket for about 100 dollars. OR for a first offense, they'll allow you to pay a few hundred and go to a weekly anti-drugs class and after you do that (and I think they'll randomly drug test you once in the following couple of months), they'll remove it and purge it from your record.
BUT if you're caught smoking while driving or smoking in a parked car, that can be considered a DWI (even if you weren't going anywhere). Honestly, this is when most dudes get busted because a lot of them smoke and drive (myself included, but I follow traffic laws exactly and drive like a grandma when I'm doing it).
Like any other DWI this can get expensive, you may have to do a night in jail, you may get your car impounded (then have to pay to get it out), you may have your license suspended for several months...
Simple position of a small quantity won't be much trouble but it's hard to get busted that way.... most guys get busted from smoking on the road.

If you are lucky enough to get caught again with that amount, you're risking a lengthy prison sentence. Also, you are at serious risk of getting a criminal record. Over 15 grams, however, is a completely different deal. You're lucky to be over the limit for getting penalized by fine, and you're guaranteed a prison stay up to 6 months, and you're basically fucked if you want any kind of privacy in the future. Also, traveling abroad is going to be practically impossible.
