I had a fantastic time, and if I weren't predisposed to addiction I'd definitely do it again and yeah sure I'd suggest it I guess. It's really up to the person.
Highest lsd dose was 1000 micrograms, had the hookup for a crystal but that was right before I got sober so I never ended up doing it.
the salts I didn't really care what they were, I just knew they would get me high and were being sold as "molly". Mephedrone was really fun.
I'd say I took an average of 500mg of whatever it was I was being sold, maybe 50% of the time it was really MDMA. I'd go through periods of having good hookups and not. I would tend to roll in binges, so go for a few days and then take a couple days off, etc. Highest I've done was somewhere in the vicinity of 1.5g mdma, with 500mg mda that same night. Fun at times but overall was not a great experience.

I love psychedelics. Love the visuals, love the mind expansion, love the sober feeling the days after where I don't feel the need to drink, smoke, or do anything. Eventually shit piles up and its a good way to 'start over'.

I got to smoke DMT last year once, and it was amazing. Absolutely amazing. Felt more sober after I smoked than when I started. Great visuals, extreme happiness, feels like you are back in the womb about to be born.
Never done LSD because I've never had it offered and have never found it. Weird, because everyone else I knows finds it like candy.
Never tried MDMA before this year, but I've done it 6 times over the past 6 months. First 2 times had some crazy sex after talking my balls off for 8 hours. Did it 3 nights in a row last week which was a little much, but the clarity after the breaking point is quite wonderful. Makes me shit my brains out though and really purges my system.
I can't imagine taking psychedelics in a party/social setting. Its nice to be with a lover or a good friend, but other than that simply being alone with my thoughts is the biggest high of all. I love looking in my own brain.

Felt an extreme sense of peace, like I was floating down. Eventually I became aware of where I was and that all I had to do was open my eyes for it to be over, similar to waking up after a dream in the morning knowing that the second you open your eyes you'll forget your dream.
I could hear the doppler effect of cars in the streets outside, and gave myself a nice "just 5 more minutes" kind of snooze before feeling it was time to open my eyes.
Upon opening my eyes my friend who cooked the DMT himself was smiling and laughing. "Good trip?" etc.

There must be differences, but as I said about the "meeting god" bit, I can't help but see it as the human mind just looking at itself. I feel zero out of of body feeling. I think the human mind is great at tricking itself, especially in terms of self preservation.
I have tons of friends who claim that they've "seen the light" during a near death experience or could feel a hand help push them up as they were drowning etc. All I can say is, "Yeah, the brain will convince itself of a lot of things to keep itself alive."
My mind has tricked itself into questioning the god myths, the symbol of the cross (especially if I am tripping lying down with my arms outstretched), the differences between androgyny and gender roles of 'the protector and the birther' etc. All in all it turns into hippy dippy shit, but I love letting my mind put itself into knots and knowing that by the end of the night it will sort itself out
Honestly the hardest thing about this lifestyle is just being able to have the self control to save your stash. I have a bad habit of buying say 4 tabs, wanting to put sober days in between, and inevitably just doing them. Its why I don't do the more addictive drugs, I wouldn't last. Even weed, if I have it, I smoke it.

There are tons of weed smokers who can perfectly drive a car, but the entire point of the realization was that one dissipates with a change of environment and one doesn't.

You're right, but you DO have relative control over what your brain contemplates (at least if you're in good mental health) so I'm not sure that's much of an argument at all, anon.
They're extremely different drugs. The comparison you make is apples to oranges. DMT is still dangerous if taken in the wrong environment for the exact same reasons weed could be dangerous if taken in the wrong environment, the difference being you can more or less still physically function on weed.

I'm no expert. I try to surround myself with people who know more, or do the research as a hobby. I'm the kind of douchebag who gets offered something (for example, the ketamine) and quickly do a google search for the side effects and quickly weigh out the pros and cons.
This was an example of being on a first date with a girl at a concert in Reno, she had some and offered. "Oh yeah, ketamine... I've heard of that" (quick google research) "Yeah, I guess that's fine."
I try to stay away from getting drunk. A nice buzz with friends out at the bar is nice and its occasionally really nice to have a bottle of wine at home or a few beers, but my happiness plateaus if I get to a point where I'm drinking every night Tobacco is nice if you are fucking someone who smokes, but other than that I think its a shitty drug.
I'm not great at hooking it up, but I usually find shrooms about once a year. Its easier if you take small jobs at pizza places, record stores, or any sort of 'slacker job'.
I also use it as an excuse to make normal life as happy as possible in order to get the best out of the trip. After the first 2 times of doing MDMA I uncovered a lot of dumb childhood trauma and was able to get over it by talking about it, writing it out, or just talking to myself and working it out.
I'd get those feelings of, "Man, I'd be really bummed out if my mom died and I never said all the sappy stuff you never want to say sober."
So the next day when I'm not tripping, I'll call and have a nice long talk, and check in with people I care about more. I like to keep the tripping as a way of self medicating depression to keep "real life" as happy and functional as possible. That keeps the best trips for actual speculation and not just boring mopey self pity.

You are ultimately right. But I would still compare apples and oranges if I was asked which fruit I liked better and why.
Actually, it took me a while to smoke the DMT because my friend's apartment wasn't "peaceful enough". He had a broken water faucet for a few weeks, and he told me that having the constant rushing noise in the next room was enough to pull me out of it. I know I didn't go in as deep as is possible, but it definitely was the drug that convinced me that eyes closed was the way to go to really have a psychedelic experience.
That's why I can consistently get good visuals with pot if I abstain for a while and then just do it in a quiet room alone with my eyes closed. With eyes open hanging around at work tends to bring out the cynical malaise which I've done my best to get over.
I would not consider either drug "dangerous" in the long term, but I was completely taken by surprise at just how "easy" the DMT was and how one ten minute experience could mean more than ten years of smoking weed.
I respect both and plan on including them both in my life as long as I can.
