Living under my parents, I still do chore of cleaning whenever I'm needed. Always told what to do, and when my dad was filling and renewing some paperwork for his gun, he was giving me a lecture that a gun is not a toy. I've encountered so many of these lectures, before I could respond he said "I know you're old enough to understand this...just make sure you tell others who are younger than you". I felt, had I not even tried to respond, he would have never have said that. I still get other kinds of lectures from him you would tell a child or teen and it's like a broken record of lectures.
I'd say my mother is worse, because no matter what I do, if I do it long enough, she tells me I need to do something else. Like every job I ever had, "you need to get another job" without giving any reasonable argument and the only thing I know about her is that she always has a need to change everything for the sake of change. She sees this is a new way of life, a new step, regardless of the change, it makes her a new her for the better.
I work part time and I don't have any job experiences to land me a job that's good enough to pay for my own apartment and live a decent life. Not that there's any job opportunity here to begin with.

Thats a tough question. Financially, the quality of life is much better where we are now. We feel like our kids are missing out on a more fulfilling lofe, though. All of our friends and family back home have kids and are always doing things together. Here, its just us. My wife (lets call her that for brevity's sake) just made a friend from work who as a big family with young kids, so this might be something of a turnaround.
