I have all 11 seasons on my file server.
The last episode is great if you want something emotionally moving.
There is a two-parter called Comrades in Arms, it is HoulihanxHawkeye shipping.

There was a discussion on a tech news stream a year ago.
Games like GTA5 are like 60GB right?
And loading them from DVDs/BDs is going to take forever, at least if I understand consoles correctly.
So why not put the game on flash memory cartridges and sell those as the game?
Every console game could be its own SSD cartridge. Flash memory is getting cheaper all the time, you can get it for 30 cents per gigabyte as a consumer, I imagine bulk orders as a manufacturer might work out to even lower prices.

Some manufacturers do put them on usb flash drives now, or just forget it entirely because why not just download the latest drivers online
>>703962976
Honestly I don't know. I know a read a figure about how an early PS1 game would take 60 N64 cartridges but that was probably because N64 didn't use flash either
Honestly I think that would be fucking sweet to have cartridge games again.
Maybe trying to get a cartridge based console to be able to read all of it fast enough but you know more than I do.

Dammit.
>>703963710
Yeah, because there is no reason at all for them to put the game on media costing them 6 cents when they could instead put it on media costing them 15 dollars...
SMH

Such a thing could actually already be done using existing hardware and software.
You could probably mod a PC to have a SATA slot on the front panel or something that you would slot your game SSD into, then run the game from there.
