I always thought it was a complete tragedy that GG and Seth Putnam never worked together. Seth wasn't psychotic like GG, but he was still out there. He too didn't give a single fuck. I could actually see Seth as the type of person who wouldn't have stood back away from the stage at a GG show. I could see him lasting on the road with GG, and not running the first time he got arrested or ended up in the hospital.
The difference is that Seth seemed like he was probably pretty likable, and cool if you knew him. At least early on. By the end the drugs took their toll. I saw one of his last shows on youtube--might have been the last. His eyes looked fucking dead and empty.
