https://antifur.bandcamp.com/album/dmt
>>703574015
Listening to Homecoming right now.
>>703577619
good song, I really like Big Brother a lot for some reason
>>703577619
>>703578506
The Glory is one of my favorite Kanye songs tbh
>>703574015
That album was the shit.
>>703578685
May I ask what's your favorite album? mines Late Registration, them strings sound great. Bring Me Down is probably my favorite by ye.
>>703577218
fuk yes antifur
kanye is faggot garbage
>>703574015
>>703578335
is this one any good compared to rodeo?
>>703579460
>confusing post-yeezus with pre-yeezus
>>703579251
College Dropout for me, it's amazing and has the nostalgia factor for me. Spaceship is my top Ye song
>>703579821
this
however, while i didn't really enjoy yeezus, TLOP was more of a return to form plus some new talent
>>703579821
Tfw you enjoy both
>>703580100
Yeah College Dropout seems to really capture the emotion of the early 2000s to me. Very nostalgic.
>>703574015
>implying kanye is a talented musician
pop music is for faggot sheeple
>>703575126
My nigga
I've got a set list of songs I listen to, never really listen to full albums. I think the last full album I listened to was Asylum by Disturbed
>>703580226
I see Yeezus as ye trying to make us hate him by proclaiming to be a god while at the same time making us love him for the dope ass beats. TLOP was pretty obviously mixing the yeezus character with the kanye that has a family, hence the album art with which/one everywhere. Its all over the place on purpose.
>>703574015
>>703575144
I don't know what this is but I like it
Well, it's fucking percussion, I get it, but I won't delete my point. Dig it, thanks anon.
>>703581507
My nigga. Probably jerking it to Shirley too ain't ya?
>>703581466
It's sick ass drum focused lounge music from the 50's. I found it at an antique shop in a rural part of my state. I have since then returned to buy 5 more volumes they had.
>>703581747
Fuck yeah
Listening to this currently
>>703582974

>>703584894
Appreciated, anon
>>703584456
Blueprint is good.
>>703574015
people's attentions spans are short so they consider this old and stale already, but i listen to graduation regularly and i fucking LOVE all the songs on it, shit is god-tier and i don't listen to pussy rap music (logic, mgk, hopsin, other faggot shit) i'm very picky with music
but yeah man graduation is excellent, has a vibe about it that cant be recreated, its a shame kanye completely morphed
The only next generation rapper that raps like he has all of his chromosomes. I'm 27 and felt old for the first time ever listening to non-talented fucks like lil yachty, 21 savage, and lil Uzi vert
>>703584456
Alright you redeemed yourself. Can't go wrong with Earl.
>>703585199
This
>>703585082
So is Forest Hills
>>703585248
For sure, man
>>703585199
at least he actually does change instead of doing the same album for 15 years like so many other artists.
>>703585215
dude is making this stuff at 23, its amazing
>>703585199
I agree... I thinks it's his second best tape behind 808s and heartbreak. I was going through a break up around the time it came out so my view is probably biased
>>703585063
Top 20 albums of all time - ALL genres
***glass breaks***
>>703585593
(y)
>>703584480
Yeah, it's the band's drummer's dick.
picked this up this weekend
Fuckin love these guys
>>703585642
What is your favorite song off that album? I've been listening to Exmilitary, No love deep web, and Money store and I'm looking for another death grips album to pick up.
>>703585418
It really is something special... we need more rappers like him. People always argue with me, but the black community went down hill when we stopped celebrating guys like Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson and glorified guys like N.W.A. and Lil Wayne. Alot of my peers can't tell truth from entertainment and it's fuckin them up
Test
>>703585866
Best band ever
Great album, except for Rano Pano
>>703586018
Bottomless Pit is pretty good. Honestly all of their albums are good except for Government Plates
Goosebumps. Many songs that I bump but goosebumps..
>>703574015
Dude ranch
>>703586197
I like their early shit better, Origin of Symmetry is god-tier, Showbiz is like 50/50 but I'm a slut for the forst half
>>703586375
Aight, I'll check it out. What's your favorite death grips song?
>>703586386
how good compared to rodeo?
>>703585688
The Eminem show is top 20 as well. I don't like Eminem but he's undeniably talented. Horst question tho, not even race baiting.. but do you think Eminem would have been more or less successfully as black rapper with the same skills and back story?
>>703586018
Anne Bonny and You Might Think are my favorites, it's a pretty great album I'd say go for it if you lean towards No Love Deep Web. The Powers that b and The Money Store are my favorites, listen to everything lol their whole discography is worth listening too
>>703586786
In one of his songs he literally says "If I was black, I'd only sell half" he knows his race is partially the reason he's so successful.
>>703586593
Every album has a different sound so like it's hard to give a favorite song, but my favorite album is Money Store and my favorite song off of that is Hacker.
>>703574015
>>703574918

>>703583350
>>703585063
My niggas.
Especially that K.Dot
>real nigga right there.
>>703586636
not as good but still decent. all it lacks is organization and a real theme/ topic of the album.
>>703583350
>January 28th and the Intro
>Could die to those tracks.
>>703587051
idc as long as we get more of that sweet ass production
>>703586949
Ah, didn't know that. He's honest. I've met guys who argue me to death saying his skin color hurt his success.
>>703578780
MY NIGGEERR.
>>703587170
Yeah the quote comes from the eminem show album, he's dead honest in his raps, that's why I love him
>>703587170
listen to white america it really goes into that
>>703586876
Yeah, I've been slowly listening to all their stuff. But I'm just stuck on no love deep web. It's just so fucking great lol. So I'll most definitely go check out bottomless pit. Have you ever seen them in concert? They're performing near me soon but I'm just afraid that they're going to cancel.
>>703583132
Fuck yee
>>703587455
my nigga
>>703579460
kill yourself
>>703587167
Production ain't everything. Look at Yung Lean.
>>703587572
I have seen them and they are seriously incredible live, I'm seeing them again in a couple weeks. Definitely go see them if you have the chance, they didn't miss a single tour date last year.
>>703579554
i mean i love the flows on rodeo and on this only the ends do it for me
>>703586386
>>703587051
Rodeo was a lot more comprehensive imo. I still feel like if he used less autotune I would love the dude's music.
>>703588025
Yeah. They're both still good tho
>>703588025
i think he uses autotune pretty artfully
>>703588431
Pretty well put when people use autotune tastelessly all the time
>>703588431
Oh when it's compared to everyone else who uses it then it's amazing. I'm just not a huge fan of autotune but I like his style and flow other than that
>>703588575
respect
>>703588575
10/10 his Magnum opes
Love this album, but I fell like no one knows about them. they only made on album and every track is so solid.
>>703588922
I just think when its music you either vibe with it or you don't. Some of my favorite albums of all time use autotune so I dont't always see it as an artist covering up their voice, I see it as a legit way to create a different vibe. People who can't use autotune well sound like shit a lot of the time but Kanye West can make it sound good because there's an amazing artist behind the mic that can change things even if its unpopular.
>>703585063
10/10 my favorite album of all time
>>703587291
i like this guy, but this tape was shit
>>703585279
Sat them at X Fest in Calgary... Such a dope band
>>703589314

Garbage
>>703585063
Best rap album of the decade so far.
>>703594512
fuck yeah
>>703594981
Actually, there's quite a difference.
It's not compressed and squashed to hell like the digital version.
It was run from the wav masters.
The dynamic range is much more intense.
>>703588832

>dynamic range is much more intense
Wow, the versions on youtube just about make my ears bleed as it is.
>>703595518
Which is exactly what i mean.
Worlds on vinyl sounds a lot more subtle and balanced. Dynamic range isn't all about squashed loudness.
King is a good track
>>703594646
Vaporwave > Vaportrap
>>703595726
Vinyl doesn't sound that good to me. I don't know why, but a digital recording sounds so much cleaner.
>>703585805
My dude! glad to see someone showing them some love
>>703595901
Bad equipment probably.
>>703595901
Vinyl is nice for old rock and country music with lots of warm crispy tones.
I don't hear much of a difference for EDM but I'm no DJ.
