>new iphone has no 3.5mm headphone jack, meaning that you can only privately listen to music with it using another Apple product
>the new Apple earphones has no wires, meaning that they get lost really easily. So, if you lose it, you'll have to buy new ones. From Apple, of course
>iphone will probably have a new charger port, meaning that you have to buy another fucking charger cord. From Apple
>iphone is even more thin, meaning it costs less to make, and it's even fucking easier to break than ever before. And when it does break, that means you have to pay for repairs. To Apple.
Seriously, can Apple get any more jewish than this? Thank God I don't bother with their shitty products
Currently have a Iphone 6+ and i will be converting back to android soon. Apple is getting really jewish.
Actually, Apple will be forced to use a Mini USB charger in their phones just like the rest as per a standardisation process.
Can't be asked to look for a quote on it, but look for it under "Apple Mini USB" and you'll find it.
So, Fuck you apple!
or buy third party bluetooth head phones, and a third party case. And if you are a retard go third party for repairs, or even better do them yourself like a non-autist.
This. Why do you give a fuck. Let people spend their money on it if they want. Fucking faggot
Oh for fucks sake will you quit your bitching already? Just don't buy the fucking thing. Keep your old phones. You're feeding into their jewey, artfag bullshit.
Just. Don't. Buy. It.
I'm not going to spend a dime on it, you idiots. That's not the fucking point.
The point is, Apple is doing this jewish bullshit, and other people WILL buy it, meaning that Apple will be making a big profit, which will encourage other companies like Android to start pulling the same fucking shit to get a slice of that pie.
Apple's auto correct isn't as good as you thought huh?
I can't believe your pointing out a shady business practice and sharing your OWN opinions.
Must be a newfag redditor cause I disagree with you.
Now this one is trash.
yeah they seem pretty cool tbh, but i usually only use headphones on my way too class so i don't mind using the included ones. can't see myself shelling out $160 just for headphones to walk to class in. i already have some sennheiser 598 for when i'm at my pc or home
This whole thread is bait and you idiots are falling for it
Competition breeds innovation. Would you feel better if apple didn't exist? It is a GOOD thing we have choices of many varieties. This paves the way for better products down the line.
You can already use wireless headphones with android and as far as I know you really can't get shitted on the USB plug because they're so simple to manufacture nobody cuts corners. And if you do, then it's really an easy repair.
I work at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store.
I don't own a single apple product.
I think it's all hot trash.
Actually, I own one Apple Product. A pair of beats they gave me for Christmas. Audio issues out of the box. My $10 Skullcandy earbuds out perform.
My favorite Apple product is the 2 meter lightning cable I took from work because a customer left it. I used it as a makeshift leash when I couldn't find the leash or my dog.
I don't think anyone needs to buy Apple Care Plus on the mobile devices unless you treat your electronics like crap, and don't know the difference between Water Proof and Water Resistant.
I feel like all MacBooks and iMacs are built to eventually have failing parts within a couple years at least.
There is a known issue with the 6 Plus logic board causing False Touch, Unresponsive Display, and grey flickering at the top edge of the display.
6s series of phones (regular and plus) have a known issue with the logic board causing the phone to turn off at around 30-40%.
Apple employees will tell you that both of these issues are not "known issues" until a Quality Program comes out for it. So if your device is having these issues push hard to get the device swapped.
Easy to repair, yeah maybe if you are a nerd, apple users like me don't have time for that, we would rather be discussing a new logo design for our graphic design company over a mocha frocca flava waveachino at starbucks
Then we won't buy those phones. I'm sure as shit not using bluetooth headsets. They're interceptable, no manufacturer uses bluetooths encryption specs, etc.
And not every manufacturer will follow suit. Push comes to shove, we'll use them instead. It might not be the top of the line phone, but millennial shitheads need to be weened off those fucking things anyways.
Or everyone will just pay for it, and you can rage impotently at the march of progress.
I have a macbook pro from 2009 that still works just fine. I think their computers are pretty nice, phones are too expensive though. I know I know, their computers are too, but they work really well for me.
In this respect they are very like Nokia, eh?
I have had all gens as well and always use an otterbox. It's nice to get the full trade in value when you upgrade. And I work in manufacturing so it's kinda a must have if I don't want to replace my $850 investment
>More thing, meaning it costs less to make
Do you even know the first thing about how phones work? The manufacturers have to develop more complex hardware that is more powerful, discrete and small, meaning labor costs for the components goes up. Smaller means more money, don't be fucking stupid.
if you want an iphone 7, like i do, you will need to constantly carry
- external battery (since bluetooth with drain the battery faster)
- lightning cable
- bluetooth headphones
- micro usb cable for your headphones
- wired headphones
- 3.5mm headphone adapter
all that shit just to listen to some tunes.
that's a good suggestion, i've looked into the otter box before. i just love how think and beautiful the phone looks out of the case. also thinking about doing the trade in program, what is your opinion on that? it comes with apple care so i feel it's a pretty good value.
i'm still chilling on the 4s. it's at the very end of iphones giving a shit timeline. as soon as it becomes completely obsolete i'm moving to android. why do phones have to get bigger and bigger, man.
I would not be able to use my $1,000 earbuds with the new Apple. That's another reason I love my Samsung Note 7.
not the guy you replied to but i hate the otter box. it's so fucking huge, feels like 2 ipad mini's stacked on top of each other.
i got a case that keeps the iphone safe and keeps it very small. and a glass screen protector is a must.
I doubt it. Apple has its own line of shit. the only competing powers are those in the Android smartphone business(sony, samsung, lenovo, etc...). Apple ain't competing in smartphone tech man, they only make so much money because they sell cheaply produced items at very high prices.
Ever since Jobs passed(RIP sweet prince), apple did nothing to innovate. all they care about is bigger, better, more cash.
They adapt older tech and create one for their own product only. Their BT won't even pair with other brands. that's no competition, it's in some ways a monopoly structure, and pretty soon it'll crash if they don't get another Steve Jobs.
Wireless Beats by Dre to go with my iPhone 7. Get on my level you jelly, poorfags.
Well making I'm speaking with something I'm unfamiliar with but GPU's for laptops experience this same kind of price up. It's not the fact the tech itself requires more money to make, it's the fact that production costs will go up because it's more difficult to manufacture (like you said, the machine accuracy) but once you introduce all of these other factors like machine maintenance, and quality testing more SKILLED workers have to be hired, and less chinese or japanese people are putting things together from memory for cheap labor.
>buying the objectively worst headphones for the price range
>you can buy better headphones for cheaper
>I automatically assume anyone with beats are tools and dont know how to research products and only buy shit by name/popularity
That'll be $270 please. And no you can't buy one it would mess up the snazzy packaging.
Because there are people out there thinking and claiming they have teh best smartphone there is, and if you're saying otherwise you're hating. Seriously, every fucking Apple user is blind to what the smartphone market has to offer.
It's a tragic case of the absolute blinding case of marketing, apply it to any product other than a smartphone and you'd call each other out for being a nutcase, but somehow Apple remains saintly precious in this
Not getting one, but anyone else hyped for Pangu to JB IOS 10 and all the potential we have for disconnecting peoples tunes and blasting them with some loud shit?
>watching them instinctively rip the earbuds out of their ears in public and drop them because there's no wire to hold onto
Guy you replied to. Glass is a must for sure. And yeah. OB is super bulky but that's my preference. As far as trade ins are concerned I traded in my 5c on Verizon edge for a 6s Plus 64gb and pay $8/mo for it(Verizon is currently covering $25/mo of that). Now in October I not a year on it and can trade up to the 7 for free and maintain that payment plan(starts over) or I can keep this one another year and own it for $192(msrp $850 new). I'd say go for it.
>iphone is even more thin
Wrong, see pic related.
>iphone 7 comes with headphone jack to lightning adapter
>it doesnt have a a different charging port
>its not thinner than the 6/6s
Thats okay, go ahead and use your slow as fuck $40 plastic androids that break after a month
>making phones super thin and delicate
>require you to buy a bulky case to protect it
>ezactly the same size as a regular andriod thats just as durable
The funny thing is they dont even resort to using gorilla glass, oh wait it costs more.
>>new iphone has no 3.5mm headphone jack, meaning that you can only privately listen to music with it using another Apple product
Is retarded, yes
>>the new Apple earphones has no wires, meaning that they get lost really easily. So, if you lose it, you'll have to buy new ones. From Apple, of course
Until some chinks reverse engineer the technology and mass produce their own for a fraction of the price. You'll see wireless earbuds in dollar stores everywhere within a few months.
>>iphone will probably have a new charger port, meaning that you have to buy another fucking charger cord. From Apple
>>iphone is even more thin, meaning it costs less to make, and it's even fucking easier to break than ever before. And when it does break, that means you have to pay for repairs. To Apple.
Won't be long until some of the more tech savvy people learn how to dismantle and replace broken screens and other components. Then you can take it to some neckbeards damp basement to be fixed for 30 bucks.
Not arguing for Apple here, don't get me wrong. Just you fucking fags are overplaying it way too much.
that may be true but only Apple makes iphones meanwhile a shitload of companies make androids and aren't worth fixing. just ask all the fags who thought they would save a few bucks buying a Huewei phone.
I droped my S4 like a couple of times without a case cause fuck em.
Leme tell you, a phone made with gorilla glass and a plastic case is way more durable then a thin metal tin with plain glass.
Also iphones get slowed per generation, you dont see too many of the older iphones compared to andriods do you?
iphone screens crack because the phone is built like shit
>tfw have had my Note 4 since launch and it still runs fucking great
>tfw iPhone users will NEVER have a removable battery
>loyalty to products and companies
I bought apple products for convenience, now that one of their products isn't convenient anymore I'll go to one of their competitors for it
simple as that.
I think that it'd be cool if you could use these head phones as mics for something like xbox. if they have purposes outside of apple then there's more worth to them. the price is pretty steep for something that the common idiot would end up losing or breaking so quickly.
Planned obsolescence. It's the new black for corporations. They fucking love to do this. Also, rich people could give a shit. They commonly drop they're new iPhones in coffee, and the like. So apple is playing to the idea that people won't care, and they'll get away with it.
Why sell something reliable when you can sell something that will definitely NEED replacing. Headphones that people will lose right away is even more proof. Flimsy construction. Kevlar? Why be so useful and forward thinking? Molded plastic! And screens that get easily scratched. It's brilliant if you want to make all the money they're going after you for not paying.
