There are 1000's of sites dedicated to it, and (in all honesty) you'll most likely get a lot of conflicting info when it comes to minor techniques and feeding charts.
If you've never grown before, start inside. There are a lot of great indoor tent packages with everything you'll need at online hydro stores. i prefer hydrobuilder dot cum
Start small. they only give you enough nutrients for 2(big)-5(small) plants to start in the packages. once you have a successful small grow under your belt, then you can go to a more advanced nutrient regime.
understand the tools you'll need such as hygrometer, thermometer, ec meter, ph meter and what you're targets for them are. The plants will need daily testing for your first grow, so keep your schedule clear. later on, you can take small vacations during periods you know your plants will be alright.
never use dirt.

2. get REALLY scientific on researching and testing the right ratios of potting soil, castings, air spacers (like perlite), guano, and not to mention how any water based feeding nutrients will react to whats already in there.

Defoliate those leaves that are blocking lower buds when looked at from above....As light in basic terms light is absorbed when it is obstructed, so removing those leaves will allow the light down to grow the lower buds bigger...

No, never done an auto. Most strains are 8-9 week flower. A bit longer for Haze strains. Basically you should harvest when 70% of the trichomes have turned amber, so times are only a guide.

Repot into something between 2x 2.5x bigger ASAP. The leaves are dark green and indicate bad nutrient absorption, my guess is your using a bullshit CFL or the light source is far. It needs 16-18 hours. Use a oscillating(rotating) fan. It is for air flow and it will help the stems strengthen. After 2-3 days in the new pot(water immediately btw) trim the lowest leaves a bit in, 1/3 should do. What soil is that?

Plants really shouldn't be in containers that size for more than a couple weeks after sprouting. You want something like that when you're starting off large amounts of seeds at once, but by no means should it be a permanent or even longterm home. After a few weeks they quickly outgrow the container and become rootbound, which will severely stunt their growth/yield/potency.
