Yes. I do it once or twice a month. There are six stores, all within 10 miles of me, and at any time of day (during their hours of course), I can walk in, flash my ID, and pick from a vast assortment of flowers, oils, joints, and edibles.
The store I go to is super nice too. Before the recreational stores opened up, I was buying from a bud, and I had no idea what I was getting. I only knew that it got me high, and the prices were ok.
Once the shops opened up, it was like my first time in the liquor store all over again. I was so overwhelmed the first time, that I ended up buying like 8 different strains. And at least where I was shopping at, the staff was mega friendly, and was happy to answer any of my questions regarding strains, and which they recommend. And in general, I can go in and ask what new stuff they have in stock, and they have jars at one of the stores, where you can even smell what they have advertised at the time.
It's like heaven man. The only downside for me, is that I am in section 8 housing, and this shit would get me super bested or kicked out at the least, so I have to go to my sister's place to smoke.

As for smoking it, yes, duh, it's not good for you, because it's smoke, and smoke contains cancer causing carcinogens. But there are lot of things that are unhealthy for you, such as working a mundane, stressful job that you hate, which a lot of you probably are, and that's likely to cut more time off your ticker than smoking weed.
Guys I need to quit weed. I'm a daily smoker (about 1g a day) and since I'm also a NEET, buying all that weed becomes a burden to me. I spend around 200 bucks on weed a month.

Actually it couldn't be easier to grow, you almost don't even have to try.
If your growing in soil its actually really hard to fuck them up very bady. Hydro is a little more complicated but its still not rocket science.
You can grow some really great weed on the cheap with soil and do it fairly efficiently. Plenty efficient if you are just growing for yourself. I got about 22 ounces from a 1000 watt light last harvest and I'm on track to get about the same this time, I just weight the first 7 ounces, the rest is still drying. I only grow for myself so I don't have to grow very often. Its legal where I live though, it may not be worth the risk where you are.

I live in Oregon and was able to start experimenting with weed legally last year.
The first couple of times I tried it, it was almost like hallucinogenic. Watching a movie, I felt like I was IN the movie, and I was obsessed with the bold colors, noticed lots of things on the screen I hadn't seen before. I felt like a different personality was inhabiting my body.
Since then, I've tried smoke and edibles, but I haven't reached the same state - just a shallow approximation. It's relaxing, numbing, fun - but the world is fundamentally the same.
Am I just not finding the right dosage, or were those first experiences just that - what happens the first times you try it, never to come back again?

My experiences were the opposite man. I was smoking with buds periodically throughout my teenage life, and yeah sure, we smoked from makeshift soda cans, but I NEVER felt a thing. No high, no buzz, no euphoric feelings.
It wasn't until I got my first bong rip last year that I got blasted, and subsequently, my first dab. That was crazy dude. I would be sitting on the couch, and blinking, and every time I blinked, I would be in a different room, like I had just took 20 steps in between each blink, and I would like have to go to the bathroom, and shit was crazy. Oddly enough, my body was moving me around as if I was perfectly sober, but I know I was high as fuck. It was not like getting drunk at all. Since then, sure I have never reached that level of high again, but a bowl to myself and I still get really fucked up.

I don't play guitar, but I play harmonica, and I find that my best sessions are when I am smoking Cinex specifically. I've tried about 20 different strains, from green crack, to dutch treat, and golden pineapple just to name a few, but most of those either give me a head high that's too much to do anything but watch movies, or it completely numbs my body, and I find Cinex to be the perfect balance.
