Still, people join. They wish to be broken down and remoulded in somebody else's image.

Also, why is it that you all keep acting like because you're in the military that means you're an infantryman? 80% of the military is non combat MOS. 80%. Tell me again how this is a bad way to go? Just because there are different options doesn't make the military a bad option. Just like working in the government, it has its upsides and its downsides. For one, you'll have a stable job and income and get benefits. On the other hand, you won't make as much money. Is one inherently better? No. Same for this.
