My family comes from (around) Dylan, Montano. They were all cattle farmers, so that's what I've grown to known as the way of life. I live in california now, in a relatively small town sure, but my blood is from the rustic nature of montana.
Every day I yearn to be a part of the small town nature that I get to experience when I head back to see family. But that is gone now... now that everyone has either moved away or died. Moving to montana or idaho doesn't have quite the same appeal any more.
My inner self yearns for silence. The type of silence that exists among the calls and sounds of nature. The complete lack of the non-stop day-to-day life that pervades life here in the "civilized" world. I want to live somewhere where there are less than 20 people that I'll come across in day-to-day life.

Cut a $1400 bill down to $500. $500 is very easy to pay for if you're a not a dumbfuck who has to impulse buy everything and doesn't know how to make delicious and nutritious food on their own for half the price most americans spend. I eat well and I only spend $20-35 on average at the grocery store (If I cut out the pop it would be $20.) All I buy is veggies, fruits, and meats. I buy large cuts of meats and process them myself. I buy flour at $.99 a bag for 10 lbs and that's good enough to make 10 loaves of bread.

Canada kicks the the united States ass when it comes to, education, personal freedom, drug laws, obesity, infant mortality, literacy, and health care. Not to mention that unless you make more than 60k or live in Quebec your taxes in Canada are about the same as the US except instead of the money going towards bombs for Syrian kids, it goes towards infrastructure, health care, and education.
