For those of you who like heavy stuff...
Some of these will def seem like cliches to people but they ARE great albums.
Gorillaz Demon Days
The Doors The Doors
Pink Floyd The Wall
Marilyn Manson Portrait of an American Family
Marilyn Manson Mechanical Animals
Clutch Robot Hive Exodus
David Bowie Ziggy Startdust
Snoop Dogg Doggystyle (which I'll still argue is the best rap album, good from start to finish)
Snoop Lion Resurrected (Snoop doing reggae? I was sure it was gonna be garbage, so sooo wrong, one of the best stoner albums)
Sublime (self titled album)- The best combo of sublime hits and their best album. Exploding across America right as Brad Noel had his fatal overdose
Queens of the Stone Age Songs for the Deaf
Marilyn Manson ACSS
Grateful Dead Greatest Hits
the first 3 Kanye albums (no shit, he actually is a good rapper for chill vibes).
Most of Clutch's early albums (most underappreciated artist)
Most of Metallica Prior to S&M
Doors Greatest Hits
Dr Dre Tha Chronic (another fantastic old school rap album)
Nirvana Nevermind (Most famous album, a good, but very flawed album)
Nirvana In Utero - 90s angst at its finest.
Queens of the Stone Age Lullabies to Paralyze
I think my age shows with my list. Certainly a 90s child. But I can dig 70s, and I really like the G Funk rap of the early 90s.
I forgot 1 Blood Sugar Sex Magic was the chili pepper's at their best. Their funk was crazy energetic and their slow songs very powerful. Good all the way through. 10/10 and belongs on my list.>>701104913
>The opinion of an angsty 14 yo can not be trusted in matters as serious as music.
Do I get any points?
Holywood was, in my opinion, better than Antichrist Superstar
Which is why you're free to post whatever the fuck you want.
there's music that triggers stuff in the brain and then there's music that doesn't
there's simple and generic music and then there's well designed and arranged songs that are unique in some way
>it is subjective
In my opinion Mechanical Animals has the best music, best social commentary, and best cohesive story. Not to mention it was just really fun to hear Manson do a Pink Floyd/Bowie sound.
Mech Animals was in my top albums. ACSS in honorable mentions.
Holywood was just okay.... sort of like the rejected tracks from ACSS. There were a few great tracks on Holywood, just not many. That was the beginning of Manson's long decline. I really liked Golden Age, but in my opinion, everything after is just embarassing. It's time for him to retire, he's a parody of his former glory. I mean all rock stars who still perform get there eventually but Manson is just an embarrassment these days.
LOL guys this album is SO GOOD XD I lvoe nineties music especially Niravab and SLIMEBLIME!
can listen to this all day long
Le Betre - Melas
How has this not been posted yet?
ITT: Mostly assburger-friendly music, e.g. metal, nü-metal, various techno shit. Maybe half a dozen decent albums posted thusfar, though none quite as good as this.
I'm also shocked that no one's posted Aeroplane over the Sea. If an aspie has heard of a single quality album it's usually that one, due to /mu/ making it a meme.
That's one shitty album sleeve, never heard the music itself however.
These fuckers right here are the shit. Sublime covered two of their songs as well
