Valve used to be extremely trustworthy until they fucked over csgo and tf2s communities. Overkill studios was also trustworthy until they fucked over their fanbase.
My vote goes to blizzard. Sure they rape you at 15 bucks a month for WoW. And sure they could have handled Diablo 3 better but for the most part they make ok decisions for patches for their games. And on top of that most of their games have decent communities. (Except for star craft 2.)

I thought Fallout 4 was absolutely gorgeous, I played that game for 5 hours a day for the first 3 or 4 days. And then I suddenly realized it's just oversaturated missions, the same thing over and over, it doesn't have that value to it where it makes you want to come home and play it. I must have beat Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, at least seven or eight times each. I never even finished Fallout 4.

Blizzard are a great developer. Warcraft and starcraft were great rts, and sc2 was a well polished and fun multiplayer game with great ranking system and a solid campaign. Diablo 3 was a bit of a balls up but they spent heaps of time adding extra content for free and listening to the fan base and the end product is great. Wow has been going for a decade, its unrealistic to expect it to stay relevant.
You can always trust Bethesda to produce a game that everybody will buy. That means it'll be good in some ways, but annoying in others.

Most of their games have moderate to severe framerate issues, very questionable art styles, and usually are not very well ported. The PS3 version of Game of Thrones contains button prompts for the 360 version.

Far Cry 3 was absolutely fantastic. The game had character set up, the villain was damn amazing, great graphics, solid gameplay, and it had enough side missions to make me keep coming back for more.
Far Cry 4 on the other hand, while not a bad game at all, just basically dropped you into the beginning was like HERE PLAY THIS. It felt very rushed like you just finished playing 3, here hurry up and get on 4.

Basically for valve it comes to games, they now have to have a way to monetize it through the market system. This is why nothing ever gets released and why left for dead 3 won't have the workshop of 2 and instead have a marketplace.
It's like TF2. They realized nobody else was buying it and people weren't throwing as much money at the in game market. So they made it free after any one who would ever want to buy it, bought it and gave them a shitty medal as a kudos.
They made Dota 2 free because LoL is free and they can't get people to shell out money for a copycat of a free game.

I used to smoke a bowl, and then just stand still in the level just to listen to those guys talk to one another. They're in group banter was absolutely fantastic. What makes me more mad than anything else is EA said they have no idea why fans liked it so much. It was like playing an 80s action movie. The over the top explosion sound effects, the interaction of the NPCs, the playing mechanics and the overall look. The game was absolutely astounding, and that's why I have so little faith that they will be able to make Bad Company 3 and make it even remotely close to Bad Company 2. It will probably end up looking like Battlefield 4 and Hardline.

One update, every week, for as long as everyone remembers. Most of the time with new content (even if it's just a new block or two). They do handy patch videos every time too, explaining the major bugfixes and content they've added.

Bethesda has only kept one promise: the ability to mod. At this point, that is what really sells their games. Not the graphics (because that can and will be upgraded via modding), not the the campaign questline (usually that is the lacking part of their games) and certainly not the game world (although those are usually quite nice).
Bethesda's Elder Scrolls and Fallout (i.e fallout 3 and up) games are essentially Gary's Mod with stories.
