American culture definitely exists, it's just shallow. Most of the music or movies are throwaways meant to make a quick buck but were never artistic endeavors. Those few great films or songs were usually made by immigrants anyway and they're meaningless outside of the US. No one has heard of Death of a Salesman outside the US because even though it's among the best American theater can offer it's still mediocre when you're being generous. French and Italian operas are known, studied, and loved all over the world. English and Russian literature is hands down the best on the planet when the best the US can put forth is a fat drunkard who is unable to make use of a comma and lived in Cuba.
The food is grotesque, there's really no other way to describe it. It tastes good because it's loaded with garbage and people love it.
