You...my friend...made me laughig so hard, i almost shat my pantalones!
Ive been working for burger king during schooltime...there are no such things as "grill chefs" at burger king...wake up dude :D
>34 year old
dude is it really worth living anymore, like seriously
Job: Nuclear materials procurement
it's okay. If I didn't have an existential crisis every day I'd be pretty happy.
> Java programmer
> $8.4 before tax / hour
> 28 years, masters in software engineering from good university
Yes, keep whining about your burger salaries you US fatsos. You have no idea.
Now why would you be here if life really was that good. also, as a guy with a thick 8.5, 9 isnt good. Its just to large to do anything wild and fun with since you usually end up hurting your partner.
What are your working hours like? In Sweden atleast entreprenurs/business owners have one of the worst hours/salary rates out of all professions. Im not trying to bring you down cause I would much rather work 16h/day for my own business for the same salary I would get from 8h/day working for someone else. Just interested.
Look into state or local government jobs. Correctional officer, maintenance, anything but fucking fast food. If you are still doing that at fourty it goes from cringeworthy to justifiable homicide to put you out of misery.
Composites guy at a local aerospace plant
I just took it for the 2nd time in July...Im pretty sure i failed.
I dont have the money to take a prep course, plus , heres the doozy. I have a 2 year old; cant stop working for 2-3 months to study.
So i mean, i have an excuse, but what good does that do me?
55k plus only 180 work days a year and 7.5hr day so works out to ~$41/hr
40, but a young fourty, also in great shape
I pretty much waste my time. Spend a lot of time at coffee shops reading, hanging out with friends, and picking up girls. Go to the gym. Go to the massage parlors a lot, too -- kind of hooked on happy endings, but I also go to the ones that won't jerk you off but will brush your balls and tease you real good.
I go out to dinner a lot and buy good food and beer for home.
Job: CNC machine operator
Salary: $13/hour (7.25 is the min wage here)
Age: 18 (19 in a few months)
Salary: Take a guess.
Zero skills, zero motivation. I would gladly die had I the balls. Maybe I'll get them as life keeps getting shittier and shittier as in inevitably will.
Subsea technician. (the above water kind.)
200 nok/h or around 25$
Currently going to school for electrical engineering and automation technology with plans to run my own business based off said skills, working as corporate security in the mean time.
$14,000 a year working two days a week
Job: Audio Engineer
Salary: $25/hour (although I don't work full-time because I'm still in college)
By this time next year I could either be a NEET faggot with angry and disappointed parents, or I could be fairly successful and financially secure with a decent little apartment overlooking downtown Minneapolis. It could very easily go either way.
No, I'm 26. When I'm "single" I go on one or two dates a month that just don't pan out. Either I don't dig them, or they don't dig me. I've had a few successful relationships in the past couple years, but they haven't lasted too long. Maybe 6 months max.
Yes I answer 911 calls and handle all pertinent radio traffic. I make that much money because I've been doing it for a decade. We've got a good union that gets us consistent raises. We start at just under 40k a year.
Kek, I did that for a couple of years too. Great job.
Now, got a few jobs.
Mountain bike instructor. Two days a week
rescue boat operator. One or two days a week
Accessible sports coordinator. Three days a week.
35 years of fucking about.
--Composer of music scores for Film/TV/Theatre.
--Fluctuates wildly from $80k/yr to $180k/yr.
--64yo (yes..., really.)
Never had a "real job" in my life.
>Pic related..., is me.
What the fuck ever dude. The only way you could make anywhere close to that is if you are factoring in a large reenlistment/commissioning bonus into your salary estimate, which makes no sense anyway.
Source: am 28 year old commissioned officer not making anywhere close to your faggot claim.
1/8 for making me respond
Oh, get over it. You're contributing to a burgeoning and increasingly effective energy source.
How's losing $7 million treating you?
>MGM Grand Resort, Las Vegas, NV
I'm in my third season. And I'm on YouTube!
Because I work for the U.S. government already and they wouldn't be terribly fond of me dipping for work for some other country after ~2 years of work.
But you didn't hear that from me.
Running/lifting weights/etc i pay down mortgage with extra income to keep wifey from blowing it
He could be a pharmacist. There are shortages of pharmacists on western bases right now... I've seen one at $125k.
It's an alternate pay track with special bonuses you'll never get.
this was my earlier response:
ticket and sales keystone resort
20 yrs old
I'm an attorney, but not in the military and not the guy you're arguing with. I just know a few military medical and lawyer folks. They make better money than you apparently think is possible
Yes, it is. Look at ten 40 year olds and you will see a vast range in how they have aged. Only a fucking kid thinks all people of a certain age look/feel the same.
Telcom Small Business Owner / work in the field daily
$100k/year, but I work 7 days a week
I'd almost rather work for someone because the paperwork is crippling, but it's satisfying when it's going good.
Knowing what I know now, I'd recommend a career at a suburban Fire Station - awesome bennies, good pay, exciting when you're doing something but you mostly just sit around and eat!
I was born and raised there, returned after staying a year in Flagstaff, AZ for university. It works out alright as an adult, but it felt like a bit of a drag in childhood.
Rent's friggin' cheap compared to other growing cities, the power company's getting their asses whooped into shape, and fall and spring are the best times of year to work/be outdoors.
Clubbing isn't worth it unless you plan to binge with a bunch of friends. Gambling's better off the strip.
salty burger flippers detected. how does it feel looking your parents in the eye and seeing their raw disappointment every day? I remember fucking one girl in my law class each week for a whole semester because her "hubby" was out working the drive-through.
It's why I mentioned midwest, also only been in the industry for 1 1/2 years. 2 years in Jan.
I checked a few salary things online and 65 seems about right for my level of experience in the area, but I could always be making more if I looked hard enough.
>YouTuber "entertaining" 12 year olds on the internet
This actually exists.
Do you see a lot of hot girls? What about life in winter? is it still pretty fun? Yeah It's probably next on my list of places to live. I'm in fl right now and people here are just trash.
Makes sense. You'd probably make much more in Cali, but the living expenses here can get a little crazy unless you want a long commute.
I get that. Some people are just better at test-taking than others. Don't give up though
law and society is a course offered at many universities. wouldn't expect a burger flipper to know though.
congrats, im the loser complaining about not passing the bar.
i do discovery for a fairly successful but small family law firm near Chicago.
The lawyer who owns the firm is a huge bitch who yells at me constantly and gave me absolutely ZERO training...just said "Go upstairs and start"
wont pay me more than 17 an hour and wont give me more than 20 hours a week.
im glad when i hear people like you are making it.
125k + bonuses and comission
aslo rich parents
Hacker 4 hire, lowly jobs like SQL injections on shitty domains, other illegal sites who won't approach authorities if breached make any move easier and more forgetful. Still remain secure.
Pay depends on the job; spend 7/8 hours on a 24 hour contract, makes $2000 per job usually.
Downside is you have to be selected and it's based on profile reviews, which are rare because that's hard to have people do after doing a job. Positive reviews are about 1 in 10 because if someone fucked up, you'll know about it.
/g/ fag at heart, open for questions
I pretty much rather be dead.
Hell yeah, especially on the weekends. They like to twerk when they're trashed.
Tourism definitely slows down during winter, but it's cozy if you have a steady and enjoyable job. Hiking out of town is fabulous, and the Thunderbirds headline a big airshow every November.
I'm so sorry to hear about your living situation. I could practically drink the air in Florida when I visited. I wish you the best of luck on your big move!
Glad to hear!
oh, whenever I do a job the first thing I do is rename something to do with cats because I always want to have one in my flat (live alone) but don't get one because I'm scared I'll be caught and they get put down.

Also my gf lives with me and she is finishing her degree but she says its fine if i find a part-time job while she gets a £50k job a year
or will she just leave me once she has her degree? i pay our rent/food/mobile phones her college expenses ect though she does work part time in a starbucks but that is her money.
Out of the pool area, you mean? I'm working on it.
One of the managers for the front desk asked my manager if he could transfer me. I expressed my interest in what he had to offer, and it should be settled sometime in October.
Now if you mean get out of MGM Grand, I'd rather not. I hardly qualify for anything else here, unless I take out loans for college.
You in Vegas, too? Where at?
