I'll just say it because I went though the same thing. I went to the doctor, told them I was constantly thinking about killing myself. Planned on grabbing my stepdad's gun and blowing my brains out far from the house so nobody would know. I couldn't even muster the will to leave my bed for the day. I went full neet at the age of 19.
Basically I was told "go to the doctor" and I did. He game me some Lexapro and it made me feel a bit better over time (it takes time, about a month to build up in your system) slowly I was able to lose most of the bad thoughts and actually get up to eat and not be pissed off at the world. Now I also got my ADD checked out and the meds for that help too. Before anyone says anything, I don't abuse it and take it as I'm prescribed.
A lot of people won't feel any better with the first medication they try, sometimes it takes a few different ones and fiddling with the dosages. Its not always effective for everyone. The problem is people don't understand this and quit then their life goes to shit even more.
If you don't want to listen to people, even people who've been though the same thing such as I, then quit talking about it because its hopeless. Why would you want people to keep begging you if you never planned on taking advice. Nut up or shut up basically. I don't believe tough love will ever help but for fuck's sake watching you dismiss everything people say is annoying. Take my advice or don't, but something in your life has to change.
