I am removing my ingrown toenail on my left big toe in less than a week. I already removed my ingrown nail on my left big toe, but I still have one left on my left toe that I didn't fully get last time. Getting underneath the tissue hurts more this time around because the nail is sharp, this is because of the fact that I already tried to cut it.
I am thinking about using an ice cube to relieve pain, hydrogen peroxide to clean it out (alcohol stings too much and makes it harder to be precise) and drinking some coffee before hand to make my hand more steady.
I am also going to be taking one Aspirin before I do the procedure, and using tweezers to lift the ingrown nail out from the tissue. I have surgical scissors to cut the nail, but I need both hands, which the coffee helps to stabilize.
