He sure as fuck enabled it and didn't try to stop it.

Who else agrees with Trump tho?
>>
>>698965726
yeah, Trump is right
>>
>>698966113
Of course he tried to stop it. He opened up the borders to welcome them in as family. What more could he have done?
>>
>>698965726
Where?
>>
Yea there was something about the American government deciding to sell firearms to the people who supply the ISIS militants with weapons n shit, not like this totally hasn't happened before with the US. Come live in New Zealand, it's much safer.
>>
>>698966219
At least Trump didn't send 400million across seas.
>>
Everyone knows Dubya created ISIS in 2003 when he -liberated- Iraq.

Donald is a idiot. If you didn't know that then you're an idiot to.
>>
>>698966300
That was just to show them how nice we are and how much free shit they can get if they come to the US.

There's a fuckton more to it than that.

>Obama enabled but didn't create
>ISIS is basically Iraq's branch of al Qaeda
>al Qaeda wasn't able to establish a branch in Iraq until Saddam Hussein was deposed because Saddam killed terrorists dead
>The US got the ball rolling for ISIS (dammit Bremer) but can't take all the credit
>The Shiite and Alawite led governments can take most of the credit for causing the Sunni disenfranchisement

So as usual with Trump, kinda but not really. Pic's for him.

tbh, while Trump is gigantic piece of shit, Obama and friends didn't do jack shit until months after ISIL pretty much abolished the Syria/Iraq boarder and declared their own holy, clandestine litterbox.
>>

One could make the case that since obama was weak to act in syria at the beginning this allowed isis to flourish.

>Hate Russia
>Mujahadeen fighting Ruskie's in Afghan Rock hole? Sure!
>Train some of their best fighters to fight Russia (one of those guys is Osama Bin Laden btw)
> Beat Russians, HURRAY!
> No internal support, fuck you guys, we're not even bothering to come pick up our weapsons we gave you
>Taliban
~ 10 years
> USS Cole gets attacked
> WTF? We're bombing Yemen
~ 1 year later
> Jet fuel burns steel
> We're going back to war!
> Fight Mujahadeen now Taliban. Decide fuck it, fightin everybody
> Fight Iraq
> Fire entire army, send everyone and their guns to the unemployment line
> They don't like each other, FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
> Convince the Sons of the Iraq to stop blowing people's brains out by giving them cash money.
> Pay, arm , and train Sons of Iraq to protect themselves.
> Obama enters office. "Nuri Al Malaki, you gotta take care of your own country. Iraq can't turn to America for money assistance anymore"
> Nuri starts beating, jailing, and just plain ol terrorizing Sheih (like the Sons of Iraq)
> Sons of Iraq say "where's my money?"
> Nuri "Fuck you, here's jail"
> SoI "fuck you, we're Isis now"
> Amerifags: better get our guns!

It's all one big cycle.

Homeschooling, at least where i did it, required you to complete the entire textbooks for each field, whereas when i was in public school we frequently only made it halfway through the textbooks. Not making any specific point, just thought it was relevant.

Yeah that was pretty retarded, only religious nuts get homeschooled.

Nah, fact checking in regards to history is still done with hard copies, and will continue to be done with hard copies for a very long time.

When paper printing was the new way to record information, people still checked what was chiseled in stone before printing it in books.

>>
>>698970219
Like we did in Iraq you mean? The problem with that is that the US can only use a certain amount of forces without the need for a congressional vote. Which basically means that Obama was bluffing, because the US congress is traditionally either anticommie or imperialistic.

Unless it directly and majorly impacts us, or the politicians can be convinced that it does, a vote for military action is always scrubbed.

So basically the president would have been forced to utilize the USMC to try to stabilize Syria.
>>

>>
>>698970286
Wow, she's pulling away fast. Trump should probably not do any more rallies, because every time he speaks he fucks up big time and damages himself and helps Hillary.

His latest bullshit telling gun fanatics to assassinate her, only brought her more support through sympathy and disgust, while causing him to fall sharply as more people wake up to the fact that he's a huge idiot, and should be sitting behind bars for making such comments.

Obama created Isis by means of continuing bush's wars when he said he'd end them and then only ending them when things were at their most unstable. Obama pulling out of Iraq was the fan to the Isis flame and gave the movement the momentum it needed to flourish. And Hillary was complacent towards all of this.

It doesn't matter. The arab spring+Syria created the perfect storm of failed states full of Islam, weapons, oil money, and conflicting geopolitical interests that ensure nobody will get their own hands dirty cleaning it up. If ISIS is "defeated" all of those people will just fight for next asshole who offers them a paycheck and/or a cause. It'll be a new name, new headlines, same problem.

If you think there is any realistic chance of the entire region not being a bloodstained wasteland for another decade (if not longer) you're delusional. We rolled this stone in the 80s and it's STILL picking up speed.

Anyone else missing the USSR?

But that's wrong you fucking retard.

Please PLEASE. Provide me with evidence refuting the scientific consensus that
1. Humans are emmiting massive amounts of gases into the atmosphere
2 these gases such as co2 and methane reflect heat back into the atmosphere
3 the mean global temp is on a warming trend
4. This warming trend is directly correlated to and caused by the previously mentioned greenhouse gases
5. This warming trend is causing the climate to change.
This is an empirically known causal relationship, this is not debatable.
But I would be ecstatic if you could prove me, the scientific method, and peer review process wrong. As I spend a lot of time worrying about this.

50 years out of 4 Billion years (which we do not have data for).

Denying that solar cycles play a bigger part in climate peaks and dips (proven by ice core samples), than CO2 does is flat out retarded.

Scientists have been told to go find proof that CO2 emissions are related to temperature increases. That's not how science is done. That's how politics is done. Science would ask WHY are the temperatures changing? If they actually studied that, the Sun would be a far more logical source as having the biggest influence on climate, not man. Yes, man does effect it, but the sun effects it more.

When scientists are told to do XYZ, then they go do XYZ because they want to continue getting their grant money in the future.

It's not hard to see this when you think about it logically rather than emotionally.

More than Obama, Video kinda fucked us over in this area.

Al-Malik lost his election and his seat. Bien goes over the and talks about US funding and let's him keep his spot as prime minister.

Al-Maliki disbanded the Sunni militias and then sent the shia militias door to door in the middle of the night killing all the Sunnis in Baghdad (the population went from Sunni majority to shia majority in no time after he killed them all.

Sunnis then won a bunch of seats in the house, elected a new PM, but Al-Maliki changed the law so he could stay. Then fired everyone who knew anything about anyone.

So if youre a Sunni in eastern Iraq... why not join Isis?

Al-Maliki's reign of terror made Isis the power house that it is today. And when shit went bad, the US kept him in office.

So yes, Obama had a big part to play, but it was Biden who was over there fucking praising the guy who was a mass murderer
>>
>>698973565
Only real difference now is the lack of oversight from al Qaeda. And a bunch more troops.
>>698973790
They were literally the reason we were still in Iraq. If they weren't a big deal then pulling out would've been fine. Also Bush started pulling troops out in '07. Hell, Bush is the one who signed the agreement with the Iraq government to pull out by Dec 31, 2011. And that was with knowing about ISIS.

So basically what Obama did wrong was honor an agreement made by Bush?

Isis will have to go away before we see another good terrorist organization.

No, I mean like destroying capitalism and replacing it with a socialist society that has a sustainable level of technological advancement per unit natural resource consumed. >>

Actually mass cattle production does have a significant effect on climate.

The problem is, is that climate change is only the symptom and not the cause.

The CAUSE of the real problem is that the earth is vastly overpopulated, and we need to cut our numbers down by 75%. Doing this will not only reduce emissions drastically, but will also stop other problems like raping the earth of it's natural resources.

I think we need to pass laws in all nations forbidding people from having more than 1 kid per couple. This should be enforced with strong penalties for breaking this law with the death penalty even being a possibility. Mandatory sterilizations should be done once a couple has their quota. This is something that all nations and the entire wold needs to work together on.

Denying this as the real problem with mankind, is having your head in the sand. Crime, poverty, and many other problems will also drastically decrease.

Non-whites will claim its racist genocide (even though whites would be required to participate as well), Christians would say it's the work of Satan through Big Government, and the Muslims will claim it's a new Crusade against them. There would mass protest that would spill over into riots and all-out wars.

The people we need fewer of...welfare folks...will have that 2nd kid or even third before they are arrested on their warrant for breaking the law.
>>
>>698975833
I agree with the destroy capitalism but I find that communism/socialism is also intrinsically unsustainable. As it leads to a state centric value system. I think the soild answer is a natural law/resource based economy as purposed by the zeitgeist movement. I have my own ideas that are similar but involve a resource based credit system, but I cant articulate right now.
>>
>>698976192
"Fast enough" isn't relative to the past rates of social advancement. We advance fast enough when we'll be able to grow our civilization sustainably over an infinite period of time. We are currently headed towards a major social, economic, and ecological collapse, indicating that we are not advancing fast enough given the rate at which we are using up available resources.

>It's a people are stupid issue.

Yes, I've noticed. Which is why we haven't yet started a revolution against the capitalist power structure. Although it should be noted that it's not entirely their fault; capitalism has done an absolutely abysmal job of educating people, on average.
>>
>>698976526
Come on. If you're on the Obama propaganda team you can't say ISIS. It's ISIL for you.

But be proud of that. It means you (errantly) think you're so much more intelligent than the rest of the world you can use your own term even when everyone else on the planet is in consensus that it's ISIS.
>>
>>698976490
True, but is reducing couples to only 1 child really that bad of a thing? We would make our goal in only a few generations which would be better for everyone.

I agree that people would cry racism, or this or that because they will feel that it is a direct attack on them somehow. I guess a good war would help trim the numbers too, but going with a reduction offspring will help pretty quickly too without war.
>>
>>698976526

Gasoline is *ancient.* You don't use gasoline because it's still the best energy solution known to man. You use it because your money is overseen by a Saudi regime, that owns your government. Nobody's going to cry a damn tear when the gas runs dry, except the Saudis, and their ilk.

No, it's not. To rational people like you and I. People who realize that humans are the first known species capable of taking the reigns of their own future and actively working to preserve themselves in the long term.

Third-world citizens and religious folks aren't there yet, and in the case of the latter, they have holy texts that can be interpreted as warnings against anyone who says humans are worthy of basic dignity as "worldly" hedonists trying to turn them against God.

And as far as a war goes, I'd much rather achieve things peacefully. Anyone would. I don't want people to have to suffer. I just want them to take control of their reproduction for the good of everyone.

That is not the case; the historical circumstances in Russia led to the decision (which I do not necessarily agree with) to create a period of state-run capitalism to industrialize the country and create a proletariat.

My impression of the Zeitgeist movement is that it is an extremely vague version of some implementation of socialism that is afraid to call itself socialism.

Nobody that shops at a grocery store is an environmentalist.
Local food/home grown/ and hunting are the answer. GMOs Aquaponics and closed loop food production are the answer. Not consumerism, take all that shit you just said and throw it in the garbage, grocery stores as we know them will never work.

it was cold today, we better ban all cars and kill all farm animals

My point is that people want to believe. They don't want facts. They don't want to be made to feel humble or stupid. Belief makes them an instant expert who doesn't have to cite sources, and that's a powerful feeling.

sorry to tell you that Al Gore was right - it was an emergency that we should have tackled then - or twenty years before then.

it is now past that. we have passed tipping point. we are now utterly fucked. unless we introduce something to massively increase the earth's albedo (reflective index - reflect the sunlight to cool us down) we are committed to massive climate change.

it s beyond emergency now - it is in to damage control. But don't worry, the Koch Brothers and the big republican donors and millionaires like trump will all be ok - it is just the poor and those in marginal climate areas that will die in massive droughts and crop failures and world food collapse.

Overpopulation is TIGHTLY linked to man caused climate change, where as CO2 emissions are only loosely linked. Overpopulation is also the cause of many other problems in the world. There is only a finite amount of natural resources and a finite amount of food.

Smartly reducing the population size will not be painful for anyone, nor does anyone have to suffer (if done correctly).

If you just want to let war, disease and famine correct the problem, then people will suffer greatly.

ISIS was created before Obama became president. When ISIS rebels started attacking the dictatorship of Syria, the US approved selling weapons and supplying ISIS to topple the dictator of Syria, because he committed war crimes by gassing his population.

The dictator then released dangerous extremist prisoners to join ISIS, filing is ranks with the crazy goat fuckers you know ISIS as today.

I could almost see the image of Bill Clinton...waving his finger in the face of America as he lied through his teeth...I did not have sex with that woman.

Not proven? That's right. It depends on what your definition of the word "is" IS. The Clintons have proven themselves to be seriously flawed and not fit for leadership.

And what are your accomplishments? Oh wait, you're not running for president so it doesn't matter. Logic. That's alien to your crowd. And I didn't call you "kid" because, if I happen to feel the need to insult you, I can do it in a much more elegant and imaginative way than that.

But don't be mad. Just put on that video of Paul Simon (the fat, old version) singing the empty lyrics to the now-dead anthem of the hippie generation (Bridge Over Troubled Water) as your liberal, socialist and communist heroes and leaders cry their eyes out because democracy is dead in the Democratic party. You guys screwed Crazy Bernie and it's going to come back on you and they all realize that. There's no fixing THAT and the crowd in Philly knew that as they cried their eyes out while representing you and your cause to America and the world. ;

No. That's what I'm telling you. The advances in physics available to humanity renders that nonsense complete irrelevant. It doesn't even need to be about a better version of the petroleum engine. But, these advances can't make their way into a market dominated by the petroleum engine. They can't even be talked about, because that same petroleum market control (the Saudis, and their regime, who literally own the Federal government) also own the patent system, because that's paid for federally. Much of what you think is physically impossible is impossible because for financial reasons, not because there's any physical aspect of reality preventing its existence.

Have you ever heard somebody who's offended by the concept of over unity describe it as "free energy," and argue that this is impossible, because there's no such thing as a free lunch? That's a financial argument, applied to a physics concept. Think about that.

What laws of physics of yours are perpetuated because they are financially true, but not physically true?

What I don't like about TZM is its reliance on technology over democracy, I do like that it's value system is resource based.
the value system in socialism is anthropocentric and doesn't account for the natural systems we depend on, so there is still the scarcity driven consumption problem. Never been a fan of the Industrial Age "proletariat" rhetoric either.

Local grown doesn't work either. Telling me no one in new England can ever eat another mango or banana? Or can only eat peppers 3 weeks a year?

If everyone went hunting tomorrow there would be no more wildlife.

Also, a lot of the "Local Grown" stuff isn't local grown. Farm stands buy food from large distributors that get it from all over the world. As long as they have one item they grew themselves, they can say they are selling local food.

Farmers markets and mom and pop food stands sell their produce when it's in season, everything else they buy and resell.

Also, local butcher shops get their beef from Nebraska beef or the other big companies. Yes, some of their cows are theirs, but mostbend up buying and reselling from national brands to supplement their sales

I don't want to brand it. I want to fucking END IT.

We should give the Muslim nations of the world an ultimatum. If you're genuinely against terrorism as you claim, you will be the ones executing the ISIS members captured. You will assist in finding and capturing them. If you fail to do this, you are for terrorism and against us.

That makes it really easy. The only brand to remember is Muslim. But you liberals know deep, deep down in your heart that the good and righteous Muslim majority around the world will side with us against terrorism, right? So it'd never come to my scenario...unless, of course, you are wrong and they'd screw is in a heartbeat given the chance.

Side note, I find people who must rely on youtube videos for make their case to be far less credible. It smacks of intellectual laziness.

Acid rain and climate change are two quite different problems. Governments took action to limit acid rain, which did cause huge problems in Europe - the black Forest and Norwegian forests were badly affected. so acid fume emissions from coal burning power stations were restricted, and the problem was solved. (also, acid rain was never going to kill everyone - so that is just hysterical horseshit)

climate change is a different problem - and one that will result in vast problems with drought in some areas, floods in others, harsher winters in some places, and larger more violent storms everywhere. you will be affected.

Logical question....

Deforestation is a huge problem in the world today, with forests disheartening. Trees (plants) convert CO2 to O2. Why are we allowing all of these forests to be cut down and destroyed? We should be planting more forests to help combat the CO2 problem, not the other way around.

You can eat dried or pickled peppers.
Shipping routes will always be nessacary so we need to streamline nanners and mangos where they can be distrubuted efficiently. Greenhouses and grow lights are a thing.
And I do belive that everyone should follow a strict ethical code as a consumer, I rarely eat outsourced food.
Of course hunting/fishing needs to be a well managed allocation of abundant resources that works from an ecological perspective. A free for all is not what I am suggesting.
If it's not local grown it's not local grown

sorry, but the actual scientists that study this stuff say you are wrong. the ice cores did not show that. climate change deniers tried to manipulate the evidence to say that, but the real science the real truth, shows they are shills for the Koch brothers.

Any law of physics can only make statements about all the experiments that were known at the time of its making. It can't make any determination on experiments that weren't considered, or based on aspects of physical reality that weren't known at the time of the laws writing. All the laws of thermodynamics were made pre relativity, and pre quantum mechanics.

In particular, there's a lot of talk about singularities lately. What the fuck is a singularity, if not a violation of the second law of thermodynamics?

If there exists a way to make one-way directional flows of photons, then all you need to do is set up a semi-permanent one-way flow of light, and then any body of heat (like the ground of the Earth) will naturally distribute in an asymmetrical fashion, to which a classical sterling engine can be used, or whatever engine you like to produce intentional mechanical motion, without upsetting the conservation of energy. It's assumed that the lowest state of entropy of any system is heat death, but this is based on the assumption that all photon exchange is two-way, that there is no such thing as a true one-way mirror. You can still find physics texts which insist that there is no possible way to make a one-way mirror. Again, the physics which prohibits one-way mirrors were based with NO knowledge whatsoever of quantum states, or the time dilation that comes with relativity.

What is a singularity if not a one-way mirror? And apparently, astronomers are detecting those in our skies.

So either astronomers are wrong, or it's possible to create a machine where the lowest state of entropy is a form of usable mechanical motion that doesn't violate the conservation of momentum. It does what you design it to do, with the waste heat of the environment you exist in.
