I had a s&w kinfe for years. It's in a box at my parent's house with a bunch of other shit I had back when I was a teenager.
The truth is I won a bunch of money playing poker and bought something nice the next day. Its bold to say that eastern philosophy blows, I mean the example you used is reminiscent of a critical principle in Taoism called Wu Wei or a doing without doing, it doesnt have to do with ambiguity its actually a precise practice which takes a huge amount of discipline to master. Why do you think monks, hermits etc. in meditate? To dwell on the ambiguity of everything? Or because they are moving towards a very fixed goal. I know but I can hit a1 inch target with my 1911 at 75 yards so my accuracy with the 27 is very disappointing I'm getting a little better tho I'm not a very big guy so the 45 prints pretty bad and Is uncomfortable concealed
