Personally, I'm loving the game as it is at the moment. Lots of fun to run around and have some fun interacting with friends. However, it does suck that it bleeds your fucking battery dry.

I really though it was cool, but it's become a grindfest that punishes the player for just playing the game.
Maybe there will be more incentive to spend resources when battling comes out, but until then, it's a matter of hoarding stardust until you're such a high level that base cp increases relative to trainer level aren't worth it anymore.

For every pokemon you have defending a gym, you get 10 coins and 100 stardust.
You don't have to press it every 21 hours, you can wait for a better opportunity, like when you have more pokemon in gyms.

Love the game, hate the shitty company that decided the whole concept. First of all buying shit makes no sense when there's pokestops, even if you do buy it, it's fucking outrageous. They should've just borrowed some blizzard servers because the quote "we didn't expect the game to be this popular", are you kidding me? Also kinda want them to compensate hundreds of pokeball and berries we had to waste right when we were about to catch a decent pokemon and suddenly the game crashes. You not only lose the pokemon but the items you used. But it's okay since the Poke dexter still records that you caught it.
