Yep. Walk in a straight line for 100 meters, if the steps increase, turn around and go the other way. If the steps decrease keep going that way. If the steps decrease then increase, travel back to the midpoint and walk at a 90 degree angle either way, if it increases turn around. Then catch that bastard. Pretty easy.
tl;dr use basic triangulation

I picked yellow because it was my favorite of the gen 1 games. Now I'm realizing that the people on team yellow aren't nearly the same level as team red or blue in my area. Blue/red are leaving 6-7 pokemon at each gym in the 800-1500 CP range. Yellow manages a max of like 500. I fractured my foot day 1 and haven't been much help.

instinct dominating campus, valorfags and mysticucks own the towns and churchs.
Eggs are an amazing source of exp
if you collect a few incubators and get them all going at once, you can be more efficient about hatching them.
Also, put all your 2km eggs into the infinite incubator, and save the 5 and 10 km eggs for the other ones, this will help get the most "use" out of the incubators you do have.
Also don't do this and drive, the app gives you a soft-ban on the distance-detector thing if you exceed 30kph, so no hatching eggs in the car.

As a general rule of thumb, I evolve the base evolution of two when they are 300+, and the base evolution of three if they are 200+. I made that rule for myself when I hit lvl 10 or so, 15 now. I have a 391 oddish that I imagine will be retarded once I get enough to evolve it twice. I'd imagine at least 1200 range, my current highest is a 904 pidgeot. Also, this should go without saying, but always catch everything if you have the time.
