Molly started being shit around the mid 2000's.
Nothing sold anymore is anywhere near the same chemical that was being sold in the 90's I can tell you first hand actual molly i.e. MDMA is fantastic. The shit being sold today at festivals and phish shows is pretty gross. I stopped doing it because there was a complete lack of purity. Chemists are making weird analogs and shit, or are just bad chemists. Pretty sure all the real chemists were busted, and there was a crack down on precursors or something.
If you guys are under 35 you've probably never done real MDMA. Same with acid, hate to say it.

Different guy but I've broken through on DMT a couple times.
After the first hit I always start to feel "floaty" kind of like being really drunk or high, and as this happens I feel some kind of "energy" building up, from my stomach and it rises up through me. The second hit amplifies this and I start hearing a humming or buzzing sound, kind of like a bell ringing but it's just the one note, it builds in intensity and pitch with the "energy" rising through my body. I usually get a third big hit in and at this point the humming and energy kind of culminate and I can't hold onto the pipe/machine anymore so I just lean back in my chair and let go.
I've had different experiences from here on out, this is where trips differ. One time when I left my body I flew through the top of my head into a tunnel made of all the colours, tessellating together in beautiful patterns, and after flying for what seemed like years I came out and was floating in space looking at planets, when I began to miss home a voice told me "don't worry, we're going back now" and just like that I was back in my room.
Another time I "melted" back into my chair and from there became a colour on a gods leg. They were the same kind of colours as the tunnel, and they danced for what again felt like thousands of years, and when it was time to leave I cried and seeped out of their leg, they took me in their hand and put me back into my body.
