Uhh tiers matter when one char is so broken he gets a tier of his own. A mediocre fox could beat a relatively skilled well... anything else. Most of the later games suffered from that, and it's compounds if you have a buddy that worships tier lists and therefore plays the strongest characters.

Point being Minecraft is a game where almost anything is possible and therefore it is a superior game to most others. Only downsides is graphics and community if you play online.
