35 in August
$144k
I earn commission and would probably make anywhere between $30,000 and $50,000 per year.
However, I'm quitting my job to finish university in spring. I'm lucky to have landed this gig as a student. The downside is that I have to sit in front of a computer screen all week and sometimes make below minimum wage when we're very slow, especially for the first week or so of each quarter. The upside is that I get almost unlimited vacation and am friends with my bosses and have a good position to add for my resume.
Definitely couldn't do this for the rest of my life. Working on improving my GPA so I can get an MBA and then do med school.
Ex-girlfriend graduated with an adv degree and is making $70k per year now.

My grades for my first two years of university were great. I had a 3.96. However, one of my close friends died at the beginning of my junior year and my GPA went into the toilet for a semester or so afterward. I'll either have to take post-bacc classes or get an MBA to improve my resume.
I think the safest course of action for me is to get an MBA, as it'll give me an option to fall back on in case I don't get into medical school. My business experience also allows me to waive the GPA requirements for some programs at well-respected institutions in my state.

I'm a student and just do dispatch. The company I work for only does flatbed with some specialized trailers. We have 48/53' flatbeds, 48' conestogas, a few stepdeck conestogas, and a couple regular 48/53' stepdecks.
I've been doing this for the last year and a half and rates have gone down a lot even since I started. We're based in the Great Lakes region and usually gross between $5k and $8k running out to California. Everybody tells me they used to get twice that much back in 2013 and 2014, given that we usually partial full loads.

Still in college, so technically negative I guess. I'm 20 y/o and I'm an undergrad research assistant in a really cool lab, so that's a plus. It pays around 25k/yr right now, but I want to start at 80k+/yr when I graduate from my engineering program.

I agree, and it starts with down sizing the government, removing duplicate programs and redundant agencies, removing a large portion of our foreign military bases, and cut the billions and billions of dollars spent in foreign aid that could be used to solve OUR problems first.
but none of that can happen so long as congress is funded by "big business" and the central banking system is removed, putting control back into the hands of the treasury department.
but that's not going to happen.... and we all know it.

No direction in life but have a decent chunk of savings and my mom bought stocks in my name when I was born that are now worth about 30k. Hopefully, I can get a loan in the next 5 years and start my own business. If not, I think I'll just travel the world. I've never been a stranger to hard work and if that means I have to siphon feces with my mouth in Brazil or be a rice farmer in China, so be it.

Geezerfag here, 61, no shit.
I make between $25 and $100 per hour as a "consultant," mostly in public utilities as a teacher/trainer, although I'm semi-retired and don't work that much anymore. I've made somewhere between $25-50K a year for the last ten years doing that, plus another couple thousand a year playing in an oldschool punk band since the late 70's.
I own my house, a couple cars, and have no debts. I've got cash in a 401k, and live pretty simply. I'll do this shit until I die, which might not be too long from now.
>>694058569
As a fellow utility fag, I can confirm our consultants make good money. What do you do training on anon?
