The ending is not as bad if you think of it this way: The fluffy's pride (and stupidity) were her downfall. She presented herself as completely independent and brave, but now she will suffer because she (and her foals) depend solely on the mercy of the next person who opens the door.
It's not a gore-fest, but it is a nice psychological revenge.

This is a long shot since Iv looked all over but does anyone have the comic where the guy raises a fluffy from a baby, I want to say it's a brown one. Unicorn too maybe. And he raises it to be a pit fighter against other fluffies.
The arts pretty good if I remember right, so was the story. I saw it a long time ago though. Like a year. I just never saved it but it's hands down my favorite.
