I don't know much about direct commissioning or how it works but basically because you have a higher degree you would start out as an 0-3 (the third officer rank and pay grade) as soon as you go on. My dad tried to get me to work there one summer, but BSA doesn't pay shit, and like I said earlier, I'm not 100% sold on the culture. It's an awesome organization for young men, but why the adult males act so goddamn weird and creepy is beyond me. I can't be the only person that thinks that.

I enlisted during the peak where the army was pretty much taking anyone. I lied my ass off about my medical history and they took me, but I honestly think it was just because they were too busy to care or give a shit. I have a feeling that they are MUCH more selective with the recruits now.
Hell, I have been arrested for some dumb shit and I still got a TS clearance. The mid 2000s army is a lot different than the army of today. I cant wait to ETS.

A guy was raping women in the local area and had a nickname "Beast" for being fat and hairy.
For some reason, a bunch of people kidnapped him after he was stumbling home drunk one night.
