We're definitely the bad guys now, but we weren't in the 30's and 40's., at least in terms of the war.
We're the new rome now. Someone is always the biggest / most region-rule-y. And for a couple hundred years, it'll be us. We probably are looking at some major war with either russia or china in the next couple years. They keep testing us, and we keep throwing our weight around in their disputed areas.
So maybe we won't be on top for too much longer. Maybe it'll be a someone more reasonable about things like China or Russia.

It was just dishonorable in my opinion. There was no strategic value in nuking Nagasaki and Hiroshima. It definitely ended the war, but it was used as a scare tactic that costed millions of innocent people their lives, and that's not the way war is meant to be fought. The people in those cities weren't responsible for the decisions of their government and their military.
