Its getting more and more annoying and taking a lot more time as the rats get bigger.
I used to be able to just thaw them and the heat from the water would make it hot enough for the snek to take it, but now they're so big they're still kinda cold even when thawed. So I have to let them sit under the heat lamp, but that also makes my room smell like hot dead rat.
I should probably try to figure out a different arrangement for that.

That's awful and I feel sorry for you there. At least you are aware that lots of the things she hammered into your brain don't reflect reality. Sure, nobody said the pharma industry and associated stuff are saints in any sense. But it surely isn't as bad as she makes you believe it is.
There's a good chance you'll be able to get a more normal/sane view on things when you're away from her for a while. Although I hate to point it out you're still very young, and nobody said your mentality and views can't change anymore. Mine surely did change a lot during the last 10 years (am close to 30 y/o now).

It will come to that sooner or later tho, you need to be prepared for that. I mean even if you absolutely don't want to go to a doctor now for your mental health, the day will come that you need to go for a physical problem. If I wouldn't have gone to the hospital some years ago I would've died a long agonizing death due to renal failure. You don't want that, even if you think you want to die. Maybe now would be a good time to get your own impressions on doctors first-hand. You still can decide to not go through with it, but you'd need to try to know. I mean, as long as you're well informed and look shit up they can't just talk over your head nilly willy.
(But I'm not sure where you're from, like if you need lots of money for doctors or not so that may pose some problems there)

Yeah, I've pretty much completely distanced myself from her beliefs now. I've known she was crazy for a long time, but the past few years of seeing that made me develop my own beliefs. I can't say they're right, but I'm sure they're closer to right than the crazy shit she's always tried to teach me.

My grandma, whom I currently live with, has been trying to get that sorted out for about two months or so, but crazy shit keeps happening and preventing it. We just don't have the money, and as soon as we have enough, life says "fuck you" and throws out another obstacle. It's extremely annoying. I'm certainly not holding my breath, I'm sure some other stupid shit will happen.

Yes, I'm living with my grandma, dad, and his girlfriend. My dad doesn't seem to care all that much, but my grandma does. It just seems that life keeps preventing her from doing anything. That and the fact that she's a workaholic, so she's always doing something. My dad and his girlfriend don't help much, but it also seems that she's a bit of a control freak, and would rather do it all herself. So I don't really know what to do.

I'd have problems with feeding live or dead rats/mice for sure. Some friend of mine had Sneks when his freezer broke, so I had to take all the frozen mice. I've looked at some of them and was pretty much noped out like the pussy I am.
