The reason why we have these stereotypes and old tropes of women are feminine with a vagina and men are masculine with a penis is because it created families and allowed for society to continue living. It wasn't a group of men who sat down saying, "People must act this way!" It was because people who didn't act that way died off without an heir. People who didn't conform to gender identity ended up not having a family, and their views and beliefs died with them. People who ended up having families passed on their beliefs to their kids, and their kids, and so on. So people who valued the binary gender system kept up the pillars of society.
That's why I think the argument for transgendered people isn't a serious thing. Just look at all the other species of animals. They have two genders. Some have hierarchies based on societal roles, look at wolves or hyenas. None of them include transgendered animals. It's either male or female. That's the way of our biological make up, and you can't hide from that. You can cut off your dick, you can plug up your vagina, but at the end of the day you had been made into one gender or the other. You can't just pick and choose because you're unhappy, unhealthy, or facing adversity in your life.
If more people owned up to who they are instead of claiming victimhood or special, privileged rights, society would be solving a lot of its problems today.
Being transgendered is the definition of privilege because it currently only exists in the Western world, where wealthy nations can afford to let you indulge in this fantasy.
