It's not that I necessarily "believe" in the big bang theory. A lot of it is conjecture formed from a wide assortment of experiments, trial and error and physical observation.
The theory is not perfect but as of right now, it is the theory that makes the most sense given the current information that we have and it sure as hell makes a lot more sense than creationism.
