I argued that living in a bad neighbourhood, which would definitely be the only part of town i can afford with my budget, puts me at a much higher risk of being robbed/killed because firstly its impossible to open my car without waking me up, and secondly a car provides the opportunity to park it in rich neighbourhoods where crime is really low.
The judge dismissed my arguments, noted down i was unreasonable and he didnt feel like i got the lesson, so hed put me in jail for a month to learn.

Well, in particular because this one is not actually real. If it were real, it would have a number of problems, fuel being a large one, I doubt this thing could go anywhere near the speed limit, since it is either electric, or runs on a shit engine judging by the simple lack of any space. In addition to that, the bed appears to be made of wood, and a blanket, the sink, and shower would only be able to run cold water all the time. You at best have a small car battery to power your hot plate/microwave, which you would be constantly recharging the thing. You apparently have one change of cloths, and one light in this whole thing apart from a window. You realistically have about five gallons of water with you at a time i there, tops, and no food. You could not actually stand up in that shower, since if we look at the chair he has, he is sitting down on the floor, and his arms seem to be lining up with that overhead box he has, so he would be hunched over, crampt in like a srdine being hit by cold water. Stop thinking RV and start thinking either cargo van. A standard conversion cargo van usually has a bench seat in the back that folds into a bed, swiveling captains chairs in the middle, and sometimes a fold down table.

Well, here's the thing, it would take a lot of cash up front to make one. And honestly, it's easier to have a 1 bdrm apt and just scrape by on the rent/bills.
A neetvan would hardly be free either, there's gas, car insurance, vehicle maintenance costs. Chances are in summer and winter that you'd be using so much gas for heating and ac that it might be even to the cost of a 1 bdrm.
But all those things considered, I'm STILL considering it. If I didn't have a cat and dog I'd probably do it.
But like I said, it would hardly be free living.... particularly if you want to travel around. That and you'd have to go to rest stops for showering and you'd have to shit in public toilets.
I do, however, really like the freedom that would entail. You could pull up stakes and move anywhere. You could even go to parts of the nation that are super expensive to live in (assuming you could find somewhere to park it).
I DO like the idea, but the idea that you can live in one for free or near free is entirely fallacious.... but once you get setup (if you can endure heat and cold pretty well), it would make for cheaper living.
