Though I agree that a job at McDonalds should not provide a livable wage for their basic workers, I think someone in a managers positions should be able to have a livable wage. Managers should want to stay and keep the business running like their own, be a part of the company. The real problem is that our educational system is garbage. We are not providing our citizens with a valuable education and those who do go on to get a degree get shafted. Especially those in education and academic fields. Plus higher education puts too much emphasis on majors that have no revenue. We need to make effective trade schools to teach people a skill they can use not provide worthless liberal arts degrees.
