They're actually progressive rock with post hardcore elements, as well as mathrock elements. And to disregard a band solely because of their genre is pretty bad. I hate a lot of emo, but I adore TBS. I hate a lot of pop punk, but I love Green Day and MCS. Bands are not their primary genre, because they can fit into several genres.
