I was one of the top trombone players in new york state when I was in high school. two time all-state and went to all-eastern my senior year. these people all expect to end up in one of the world's major orchestras and take private lessons from members of those orchestras. they aren't household names because most people don't really care about classical music, but they are still a big deal to any self respecting musician.
