I don't have much music either quite honestly.
You seem to know your music, and since we're on the topic, suggest me some Romantic era stuff if you would be so kind, stuff like Tchaikovsky. I like listening to that kind of music, but don't listen to it enough or know enough about it.

Tchaikovsky aside, who else do you like?
Overall, I'd recommend tuning into some public radio stations' web mirrors to broaden your exposure. YMMV
Wow, NS has completely killed itself on my end. 5 posts and not a single one has shown my name.
>>685568803
Dunno. Chopin is pretty nice I guess, but from my limited understanding, those two seem to be vastly different.
Will do, thanks.

There's never enough cetaceans.
>>685568803
Vivaldi
Specifically L'Inverno
>>685568957
Dat tongue.
>>685569004
If you like Chopin, Rachmaninoff has very good piano music, and more of it has full orchestra accompaniment too.
I will always recommend Antonín Dvořák. His music is always just so... uplifting.
>>685569297
Thanks mang, much appreciated.
>>685569269
>you tried
Listen to ten pieces by Vivaldi that *aren't* The Four Seasons and tell me what you think.

Alright, will do. Thanks for the advice.
Okay, so turning it off and on again and reloading the page didn't work in this case. Guess Dashie's stuck without a name. Thanks Obama.
Hey gents.
To pull in some things a little more modern and in more accessible repertoire, let's move to England.
Ralph Vaughan Williams
Gustav Holst
Percy Aldridge Grainger
This may strong bias on my part, due to them having very popular symphonic band arrangements.
It's about fuckin time. It only took 13 posts to work.
>>685570298
Heya Hotshot, how's it going?
>>685570381
Watched some fun improv and now drinking the night away!
*sigh* or not
>>685570357
Oh, I've heard of Gustav Holst before. Don't know about the other two, but I'll be sure to check them out. You're the man, Tem.
>>685570449
Sounds quite fun.
I'm bored and kinda hungry even though I ate 3 hour ago.

You've probably heard of Holst through The Planets, or perhaps you might recognize his First Suite in Eb or Second Suite in F.
Vaughan Williams and Grainger both went on long tours around the British Isles collecting and arranging folk songs and did very well with them all.
I'd like to add Malcolm Arnold to this list too, although he's more modern too.
holy fuck I love memes

>You've probably heard of Holst through The Planets, or perhaps you might recognize his First Suite in Eb or Second Suite in F.
Possibly. I don't know any actual pieces by any composers, I just know some the music and the composers themselves.
Folk music, eh? I like folk music quite a bit. Definitely wouldn't mind hearing them in that case.
Seriously, I really appreciate it. I'm getting bored of all the metal, I've heard pretty much everything. It's nice to listen to more traditional(?) styles of music. The problem was that I found my very angry niche immediately, and never branched out, so hearing beautiful compositions like are quite literally completely new to me. It's very nice, so thanks again for all of your help.

Titty fur bro reporting.
Holst and Liszt are top tier in my opinion.

I are nigger now it seems. I really need to learn to type.
Grainger is great as well. Racking my brain thinking of classical composers that aren't Bach and Mozart that I really like. Easy to forget their names.

You'll recognize Mars. It's... quoted a lot.
>>685571907
>>685571918
Nothing's coming to mind with Holst, but with Liszt, Liebestraum is one of my favorite pieces ever written.

Yeah! First Suite in Eb. Man, I completely forgot about that piece. Used to play it by reading the score. Loved when I could play like that. Lets you see every other part as it's happening.
I miss playing in that setting.

>checking out "The Planets" wikipedia page
>'Black Metal/Viking Metal band Bathory arranged a section of "Jupiter" as the melody of the song "Hammerheart", from the album Twilight of the Gods.'
Oh, so that's how I recognize the name. Sweet.
>>685572419
Yeah, I definitely got a Star Wars feel from it.
>>685572601

Just listen to the basses.
It may not be a direct quote in this case (it's not 5/8 time), but its structure is very derivative.
"Jaws" is the opening to the 4th movement of Dvorak's 9th (New World) Symphony (First published as his 5th, then rereleased. I'm foggy on the details.)
>>685572836
Any Carmina Burana? That band south of me uses O Fortuna for 4th downs.
>>685572323
unbirth isn't more lewd it's just more conventionally recognized as erotic, I personally find the stomach far lewder than that vagina.
>>685572870
Oh ok. I see what you mean now. I misunderstood you as implying there was a direct reference, but I completely agree. Highly inspired by Mars.
Heres something a little different, this was my raid music for a good while

>>685572985
It's lewd as fuck to me. I still don't get the vore thing though, but I certainly won't judge you for it either.
>>685572679
When does your size start? There are tons of busties out there.
If you don't mind mlp stuff it's practically unlimited.
>>685573111
Some other movies just plain use it rather than writing something new.
>>685572971
Nope. Never played that during games. We had a more, classic-rock type repertoire. Arrangements of Vehicle, Hang On Sloopy, Evil Ways, God Bless The Child, etc...
>>685573276
I played Vehicle in HS pep band. Kinda wonder if they still do.

I'd say anything past what appears to be a G cup. Could also be a smaller body that makes them appear big. This pic is almost too small. There's not really a limit for me on big, though.
I don't mind mlp, I just prefer to not have a folder full of that. But really, most of my folder is Strype art.
>>685573274
Oh I know. Probably one of the most sampled classical pieces out there.
