You just have to know how to take care of it. As someone with really curly hair, I find that shampoo is a massive pain in the ass and makes it look like shit. I only use shampoo every 2 weeks or so because it strips the hair of the natural oils that make it healthy and nice, and makes it really frizzy, tangled, and unruly. The best thing to use is conditioner, but rarely shampoo.
