Because it's the mildest 'all-natural' no-additive tobacco you can get. I cut way back on my smoking (maybe only 2-3 cigs a day), as my fiancée doesn't like it (bless her for tolerating it). Honestly, if I try a ready-made standard brand name cig now, it tastes harsh as shit, burns too fast, and makes me feel a little woozy. Before that I was rolling with American Spirit perique blend.
Also, 420 blaze it erryday. For this purpose, my tobacco of choice is also excellent as it's fairly neutral and improves joints, IMO.

I wouldn't say pipe tobacco is stronger. It's cut different, and not really meant to be used in cigs. If you're doing that, you're wasting the tobacco. Shit's usually coated with sugar or flavorings (not nearly as heavy as shisha though), and sucking that in only through a cig filter while it's burning too hot sounds like a bad idea.
I will assume you meant from a pipe though.

Indeed. I used to work in a small smoke/cigar store and would cop freebies now and then. Other employees in the store were morons that never took care of the humidor properly, and ruined dozens of cigars by either letting them dry out or turning them into sponges. So anyway, I'd steal the cigars destined for the garbage bin. Cubans are noticeably distinct. Dominicans are a close second in quality. Anything from Central America or Mexico (lol) is probably low quality, and about as low as you should go in choosing a cigar.
That said, yea, pipe tobacco is just way more pleasant. I have a pipe but barely use it nowadays...

Fuck, I don't know why I clicked on this thread. I hit a month and a week of cold turkey today, 99% of the time I feel great that I've made it this far - that other 1% makes me crave that first initial light so bad. Parliaments for three years, camel filters for two before that with an odd Lucky Striker when I could find one. All of the best hookups/friends with benefits I've ever had started over a cigarette.

Have you thought about picking up the pipe? My experience is that despite smoking for more than two decades, I don't get addicted from pipe smoking. In the winter, when it's not as enjoyable, I go months between smokes and don't miss it. In the summer I'll smoke two or three bowls a day.
Smoking a pipe is a very different experience. It's not very convenient for one thing; you have to put aside between 30 minutes and two hours depending on the size of your bowl. And you smoke a huge amount all at once, so that it rings your bell, rather than getting a constant trickle of nicotine.
The other thing is, you don't inhale much with a pipe, so you don't get smoker's cough. You can still get mouth and tongue cancers, but you probably won't get emphysema. And you won't get addicted the same way, so you can still enjoy your smoke without craving it.

As long as you know when to do your shit and put down the weed youll be fine. Go to a bar near a college. Ask around the younger crowd. Probably wont work if youre in your 30s+ because youll look like a cop but just try to be cool about it. Also if you work as a server you can pretty much get weed from any black cook. Literally have never worked with a black cook that didnt deal in some way.
