If we've adapted to something, we were "designed," in a sense, to do. That's kind of how evolution works or else the adaption would just be useless and a waste of energy. When the climate changed drastically and early humans that had mutations that enabled them to process meat survived, those who were not able to died off, those who managed it lived on and now humans can eat meat.
And yeah, it's pretty terrible to base your diet 100% on meat seeing how the majority of our energy is in the form of carbohydrates, but meat is still a important part of diet. evolution doesn't just switch off when things get back to what it was, it carries on.

Same thing can happen if you eat raw fish, pork, beef, bison, croc, whatever. If it has parasites and bad bacteria you'll get sick. If you eat a clean (meaning it has no or very little bad bacteria or has no parasites) slab of meat, you won't get sick.
You get sick when it comes eating because:
1.) it has a bacteria that gives you food poisoning (when bacteria breaks down the food, the byproduct is toxic and it makes you sick)
2.) it has a parasite (same as above, but sometimes they can eat you from the inside out)
3.) you're allergic or have an intolerance (you hit the unlucky gene pool)

No. These people fail to understand their own phenotype, digestion is one of the most important things about an animal. The cow for instance is able to be a very large animal and eat grass and flowers because it has multiple stomachs and re-chews it's food as it passes it between them, it's able to get a lot of energy out of something that's not very easy to get the energy out of.

No. It's one of the most "Natural" things there are. Living organisms consume other organisms for sustenance. Even plants absorb the nutrients from dead things. The only thing that makes us different is that we farm and raise crops and livestock specifically for food.
