As much as I like the show I'm starting to get bored of it. It lost a lot of focus over the past couple of seasons and the pace has slowed to a fucking crawl. Most of the characters I like are still there but they never get enough screen time to actually do anything interesting, and they're just kinds there on the screen wandering from one scene to the next. Tyrion acts as he always has, Jaime acts as if he learned nothing from being captured and connecting for the first time with his daughter, the Snakes and their whole situation is absolutely fucking bullshit, it's just fucking terrible. I watch because it's popular and there aren't enough high-production medieval fantasy shows/movies out there. If there was anything with a mildly compelling story out there with a similar time period I'd definitely watch it over GoT. Vikings doesn't count, though I like watching it.

The show is just poorly written and executed. It went from partially realistic customs, scenarios, and scenes to unrealistic scenarios like the Sand Snakes taking over Dorne (fucking confirmed by Jaime too, how fucking ridiculous is that?) despite being bastards and the least likely to inherit (and even if they can as part of Dorne custom, that's nowhere in the books or established lore, and no realistic feudal system would allow it to take place).
