Have they been recording? From my experience, you might get more of a chance with a label if you go in with an album where all they have to do is remaster it then promote it. Labels are poor as fuck these days, they'll be willing to take a chance on publishing but maybe not paying for recording, if you catch my drift.
Saying that, why do the band want a label? Labels are historically dickheads and laughably unneeded in this day age. Look at how successful the band is without a label.
