the simpsons was great in the 90s. it was mediocre in the early 00s. and from about 05 onwards its been horifically bad.

Non stop awesome that season. Just reading that episode list, EVERY episode is a classic (except the one about the dogs). Jesus Christ, that's why the show was able to coast on goodwill for over about a decade while Groening put all of his effort into Futurama before becoming decent again when it finally ended.
