ok fgts let's try this, I give you my 3 fav movies and you tell me how you think my personality is, then you give your 3 movies, more than 1 can answer a single comment
>>A CLockwork Orange
>>Good Will Hunting
Unconventional, sadistic, and cerebral
No Country for Old Men
Smart and sarcastic
Edgy and stupid
Pretentious wannabe film maker
also edgy, but with a pinch of gay
The Big Lebowski
Ok Good luck
>Valerie and Her Week of Wonders
Here we go
>Paul blart mall cop
The Royal Tannenbaums
Mad Max: Fury Road
The Hunt For Red October
Loved first two when I was younger. Still solid films. Good Will Hunting is also good, but I wouldn't consider any top 3 for me.
3 of my top films:
- American Werewolf in London
- Punch-Drunk Love
>sommaren med monika
>au hasard balthazar
> Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich Malkovich
Forgettable faggot who pumped your gas ato the gas station. Desperatley wants be noticed but doesn't act on it. Boring as fuck. Low IQ and just all around retarded. Prob was molested by his dad and fucksister his dog. Has celiac disease and pisses everyone off becuase he always talks about it. Has 2 freinds that don't really like him but they still hang out with him bc he sucks them off when drunk. Mom is also a lesbian who just recently found her secret attraction to dominant black men
>Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey
Either very intelligent or very dumb. I can't see a dumb person liking shawshank, but I can't see a smart person being /that/ into inception, especially when the same shit exists, but smarter (like interstellar, for example).
Either way, not bad taste.
>A Clockwork Orange
>Good Will Hunting
You're fairly young, late teens, early 20s. You consider yourself intelligent and have a cynical attitude towards society. You are also somewhat insecure and feel the need to reaffirm your intellect by attesting to your love for marginally high minded and dark films; but you don't have enough taste and/or experience to go for more obscure films.
1.- Tres lancheros bien picudos
2.- El modisto
3.- La risa en vacaciones (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)
>Gas KIKE$ (1939)
>Lynch NIGGERS (1951)
>Build The Wall (2016)
>Dr. Strangelove or ... How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
>The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
Depends completely on which mad max
Has watched 10 movies his whole life
Apocalypse now is the superior film in my opinion. A lot deeper, better looking, better setting
Only likes AHX for the curb stomping scene
You got it switched M8. I know a lot of dumb people who like Shawshank, you don't need to be smart to understand it really. Smart people are usually into inception, and saying interstellar is the same thing confirms you are fucking retarded.
You're making your false flagging too obvious Hillary Shill
Hard to pick three absolute favorites but I still figure they're great films.
Also why the fuck do people seem to like Dr strangelove so much? I understand if you were around in the 50's because it's a cultural thing but it seems like everyone who's younger is just drinking the kool-aid with that one. The scene with the coke machine was funny, that's about it...
Somewhat obscure, classic films that make you look smart and are actually good.
Rashomon is pretty fucking amazing if you can get the concept behind it (All men lie, even to themselves).
As is The Third Man, that movie does an amazing job of making you question what is the moral thing for the protagonist to do. If you like ethical quandaries its awesome and the cinematography is beautiful.
>28 Days Later
Contemporary to the point that Nightcrawler and Whiplash came out the same fucking year. Cloud Atlas only a few years earlier. 2014 was a solid year for films man, but it seems to me that you're at least 17 or younger, and only in the last few years has had money to go watch movies with friends instead of family
Isn't Barry Lyndon like 6 hours long?
I love most of Kubrick's films; but the length intimidated me.
Young man who thinks he's smarter than everyone else despite having very little actual knowledge on any subject. Aggressively nihilistic to the point of moral insanity.
underage b8 who wants to join the military but will wash out in basic
You feel imprisoned by some circumstance in your life and dream of leaving it all behind to reinvent yourself. Watch A History of Violence, I think you'll like it
>>The Good, The Bad, The Weird
Not falling for this. You 'loved' that your cancer wasn't terminal? What are you 12? Who the fuck says this.
If true than congrats on surviving but you knew the movies you picked would spark controversy don't tell me you didn't.
I don't think you have a personality OP. No offense but I think you're an empty shell trying to emulate a human being not that I'm one to talk and not that there's anything wrong with that.
> American Psycho
> A Scanner Darkly
> Requiem For A Dream
Well Whiplash and Birdman were the two best to come out of 2014, Nightcrawler was good but there's just something missing from it I can never put my finger on. And I didn't like Cloud Atlas much
>assuming that i havent watched any film by fellini
i was just more pleased after watching l'avventura than 8 1/2 or la dolce vita, not saying those are bad tho
have you watched the other ones at least? or ayou just memeing?
I found it interesting, but goddamn is it slow. Might be just my recollection instead of the reality but wasn't there a literal 9 minute cart riding scene where nothing happened?
nothing but your thoughts and the passing landscape
and you are correct about the length. or at least how long it felt for sure. i can't remember the actual length of that shot
i dont think it was 9 min long, but in that scene you have at least some different shots, in the final scene of nostalghia there literally a 9 min single shot with very little movement, but its great still
>blade runner (1982)
>i dont rate mizoguchi or satyajit ray
>Leon the professional
you look like you take it up the ass while listening to BOTDF
Nice reich dubs though
Fear and Loathing in Vegas
Requiem For a Dream
True story: I never saw RFAD, and had no idea about it. So I watched it on the plane flying home for Christmas. Wrong time to watch that shit man
>uses movies for release from the real world
probably likes the butch scenes in Pulp
Probably likes the Tyler Scenes in Fight Club
probably likes that nothing bad happens to Leo after all of the bad shit he did in Wallstreet
Tell me I'm wrong
I just watched A Clockwork Orange last night, and still need to give it some time. That being, definitely up there.
Seeing ass I don't just wanna list off Tarantino stuff:
A Clockwork Orange
In that order.
Leon is great
you've done a few drugs, went to a few parties and felt socially awkward. had some ramen noodles for lunch yesterday but you don't mind them. talked to a few girls at work this week and have murdered someone from afar at least once
This is a better response than I was expecting
no........what the fuck that movie is bleak as fuck bc whether you like it or not the world has gone to shitm just like that film.
fucking triggered asshole
It's hard to pick just three movies so how about anything with the Marx brothers. Especially the ones with Zeppo.
I really wished Mr. Brooks had done better at the box office so we could have seen the whole trilogy. My favorite part in that movie is when Dane Cook gets his throat slit with a shovel.
And I thought The Man from Earth was a very interesting movie. I really enjoyed how it was mostly dialogue.
ayy Eyes Wide Shut is pretty good. I don't really get why people hate it so much. It did the slow, creeping horror thing better than pretty much any film of that sort I've seen
harry potter is shit-tier though
