As a Filipino myself, I can attest to the fact that the Philippines is a shit country. They acknowledge their government is corrupt but rather than do anything they let things be in hopes that God will answer their prayers and make a better tomorrow. It is that mentality of "things are fine as they are" or "be content with what you have" is why the Philippines is utter garbage. Those Filipinos that can get past that mentality go overseas since there are no actual money making opportunities in their shit country. And thus, since all the valuable citizens go elsewhere, the country is only left with their shit workers. What's more, rather than try to be like their more successful relatives and work their way up as well, instead they expect their rich cousin or sister or whatever to send them money.
But I only talk about Filipinos from the Philippines. Those that migrate to better off countries, they are as hardworking and intelligent as other Asians. Their children who are then born overseas also perform well in schools. Filipinos are fine, but the Philippines is just shit.
