Is this the perfect JRPG? It was out around the same time as FF7 and that game gets all the praise. Although they're both good, I really feel this game was superior. What do you guys think?

Legend of Dragoon was perfect. Wish they made games in the same format now, but they'd rather chop it up and sell it separately.

It's pretty much universally agreed on that TLoD is light years ahead of ff7 and most rpgs in general. If not for ff7 overshadowing it, it would have probably grown to be a huge contender in that genre. I'm not so sure sequels would be in order given how satisfying the ending was, but a remake still needs to happen
