Op. I have experience with this. I know a few people this had happened too. I hope you don't live in Maricopa county btw. Now. Every single person this has happened too, half of them were scammed like this, the other half were legit talking to a 16 or 17 yr old. The ones that got scammed freaked and immediately payed the money. But it didn't stop there. They were continously asked over and over to pay a little bit more. Shit happened in the family, if you don't we tell, etc. It always ended in them finally telling someone who covertly called the police on them or they went and told the police. In every single one of those instances they went to jail. They couldn't bail out bc in AZ a sex crime is automatic no bail. They would be in there until the detectives went through everything. Every time the prosecutor would offer probation. But, that was just to see if they could get some retard to actually take it. As soon as you ask for it to go to trial they drop the charges, you're home free. Now. They still had to do time in jail until they went in front of a judge a few times. And they will try and drag that jail time out the max amount just to get the jail money. Extra prisoner, you know the deal. Now the other half that went straight to the police and we're like, hey. I'm on pof. Me and this girl start hitting it off, she sends me some nudes, then says she is 17 and all of a sudden her dad is asking for money and that he won't press charges. Idk what is going on here, I'm a law abiding citizen, I don't want to get into trouble, etc. Those guys automatically had the police on their side and got the scammed fucked up. In the few cases it was an underage girl, she got charged with distributing child porn. They took it to trial, got out home free. You have two choices.
