one of the worst gaming disasters in history. they took a shitlong time to make it, then betrayed everything that had made socom great. they tried appealing to halo/COD hold-the-trigger games, and alienated their own fanbase
there are a few PC options for it. Insurgency has a good mod that makes it feel like SOCOM II, and H-Hour is trying to recreate it (after the failed independent project)

i beat that fuck out of AC3 and Silent Line. beat both games with all S rankings and 100% complete. Found all the hidden weapons and armor, etc. My favorite was using the Rail Gun back weapon and boosting up right next to the fuckers and it does massive damage, kek. of course i used the game's hacks to be able to run and shoot with humanoid legs and back weapons that you usually have to kneel down with.
