I can see it fucking someone up pretty good if you beat them with it enough, but it's light. There's no follow-through; not enough weight. That and the fact it's on a chain and obviously light means it can bounce back and hit your arm or hand instead, and getting cracked in the back of the hand with something like that's gonna hurt like a bitch.

Honestly you may as well use a knife or brass knuckles. The ban on brass knuckles is retarded anyway. I carry a knife with me everywhere and honestly nobody's going to doubt that's just as deadly and even more concealable. Brass knuckles are actually a little bit bulky.

Imagine that fight. Whether you wield the knife or the chain weapon.

The knife guy runs straight into the chain guy. They tumble onto the ground.

Who wins then?

The only way the chain wins is if it scores a blow on the knife guy's head. But if he covers his head with his arms while he is charging in this is near impossible.
>>
>>683910425

what is the most dangerous?
>>
>>683910596

Even if your wrist is broken by grabbing the chain, what happens then? It's completely wrapped around your wrist.

You have control of his weapon in one arm and a free blade in the other.

Guess what happens next.

anything on a chain is a shitty close combat weapon. chained weapons are more effective for intimidation rather than dealing actual damage.
>>
>>683910763
but chain is easy disarm, then chainguy wins either by being the only one with a weapon or because knifeguy loses the relic to his namesake and loses stability right there

all depends on location. with an open LOS a firearm will always win. Anywhere else under a certain distance becomes a coin clip of if you shoot them center mass or not while they rush at you.

in the Philippines the special forces of the police who clear buildings sometimes use knives instead of guns as they are more effective at those ranges, one of the benefits is that when you go around a corner your weapon will stick out first and it can be grabbed, try doing that with a knife.

it also make less sound, no reload etc, the gun is not always the best option, and at least not a pistol, lol

>>683911286

>youre still assuming you have more physical strength than the opponent
I'm assuming equal strength.

>thats also under the assumption that your weapon hand wasnt targeted
Well since the chain wielder will obviously be trained in that weapon I assumed the knife user would also be a trained fighter.

Under such circumstances the knife fighter will keep his weapon hand back and use his open arm as a defense. What this means is if he can get your chain wrapped around his unarmed arm then you are at a disadvantage because your weapon is disabled while the knife is still usable.

Anyway like I said before how would you defend against a charge by a knife wielding assailant who simply seeks to tackle you and stab you to death? This is the main strategy to knife fighting.

exactly, it is simply easier to master the use of a telescope baton than this thing because of all these minor things that could impact it making it a trash weapon to most people and probably useful to a skilled person, but why bother spending energy getting skilled with this if your goal is self defense?

The idea is mainly to keep it from firing if it gets snagged on something. Unless the front trigger goes back it won't fire. It's not amazing but it's a safety nonetheless.

Everything you mentioned probably is more dangerous. You could probably choke someone with a cotton ball or my dick. You can certainly choke someone with a shirt or a pillow. you could probably knock someone out by throwing th corn starch container at them. The only thing i'm not sure about is the loaf of bread and the yo-yo.

knives used for this are not the huge american cock enlargers you probably think about, they do not have any jagged edges or anything but a clean small blade made for leaving the flesh as easily as it enters it.

And, even when you clear a room correctly, you have to stick your gun out in front of you to use it

One safety feature of any handgun is the fact that if you don't have your finger inside the guard it's odds of going bang are dramatically reduced. It's main purpose is to keep the gun from firing while it's being holstered.for the cowboys who keep one in the chamber

Purpose is to keep it from accidental fire if dropped.

If it bleeds you out in three seconds you definitely won't be needing a team of surgeons. Unless the team is headed by the Flash or somebody who can stop time or someone smart enough to know that any wound large or small can be fatal depending on where it is received. Besides, box cutters cause more injuries/fatalities than any other blade in current use.

no. it refers to reaction time with a holstered weapon with the attacker charging and his weapon in hand. And it assumes that there is a likely-hood that the person being attacked (who is stationary) will get stabbed or struck before he can fire the first shot from a holstered weapon. If you away from the attacker. 21ft rule looses its relevancy if you simply move away from the attack and buy a little more time.
