Fluffies are made up creatures based on the ponies from MLP, and they are typically made to represent the worst of society. They can talk and have somewhat coherent thoughts, and for the most part they are stupid, selfish assholes who shit everywhere and complain non-stop. These threads exist because this concept became popular enough to the point that hundreds of artists put time and effort into creating an entire genre of content surrounding these things, and the variety of content means that these threads can still remain interesting to those who enjoy the concept. This isn't a perfect description, but it was pretty quick I think
