How the fuck are you supposed to fill 35 hours a week with job searching? What the hell kind of hax do you faggots use?!
Worth a try I guess, cheers. Still open to more ideas f anyone has any?
There really isn't much to it.
>Wake up at 10 because fuck actually doing 35 hours
>Do your actual job search
>Go into town
>See where the day takes you.
Most of the time I just sat around and played chess with strangers.
Been signing on in the UK for like 2 years. No one has ever asked me for proof. MFW
That's only 450 or so USD. Not enough for rent in most places, and certainly not rent + utils + food
Roughly 920 USD is a little better, but still not enough to live on. Rents can't be that low in the UK, right?!?!
been on JSA (job seekers allowance) since 2008 in Ireland. 188 euros per week, rent paid for. Life is pretty sweet. Did a few Internships for about 2 years total (extra 50 on top of your JSA. I also buy and sell articles online so make money from that. Life is sweet. Fuck working 9-5.
Own a decent motor do you?
Go on foreign holidays much?
Eat out at decent restaurants much?
Weekends away on the piss with your mates?
Decent clothes on your back?
Respect of others?
You live like a leech and will die in a shitty council flat having seen and done nothing in your last worthless life.
I'd rather work two jobs than live like dole scrum.
>life is sweet
What a fucking sad tool.
Esa guy here, i own my own motorbike, flat, don't go on holiday because i don't like flying much, i eat out, go out to the pub to get drink, have good clothes on my back with self respect, only respect whites "no one else deserves it", life is sweet if you make the most of what you have and if people give you money for free then make the most of it.
Lol go fuck yourself, you fucking idiot. I'm on the btw enterprise scheme. starting my own business buying and selling articles. Few years I'm gonna have enough to buy my own home. Don't fucking judge what you know nothing about you fucking imbecile.
I get a £260 bump at the end of each month from pip like i have for the past two years, right but mental health can impact everyday things missing two legs isn't stopping you from talking to people or going out much.
I worked on the PIP helpline, the fact that you get PIP just goes to show how fucked up the system. Was it Atos or Capita that did your assessment? Also was it a home assessment?
Working like an indian for chinese pay is a shame to me, you're a slave to your very own survival, you work to survive but in surviving you're wasting your life away in a shitty 9-5 job, hardly a way to live imo.
poverty? lol i live in a nice semi detatched mate. I have steak for dinner most days. thanks for paying. NOW GET BACK TO WORK. IM NOT GONNA BE ABLE TO BOWLING IF YOU KEEP SLACKING. FUCKING MONKEY
>I make more in a day than you will in a year.
That's why you have had 17 mortgages, if you made cash like crazy then you would never have had to take a single one out, also i have never had a loan or have ever had to pay anything off monthly either.
I am gonna have a stab at what you tried to say there.
The Reassessments are exactly the same as when first applying, you fill in the PIP2 form then have to go for another assessment at one of the centres unless you get a home visit. Normally it's done about a year before your claim is up.
I never gave PIP to anyone, I just worked on the helpline answering questions. It's a Disability benefit so you need to have a disability to apply, they have a list of questions that get asked and a point scoring system that goes with it. Faking it is hard due to the fact they do face to face assessments and even if you have a legit disability it's still 50/50 to whether you'll actually get it due to how the assessment providers don't give a fuck about there jobs and normally score people really low for no reason. Only way to get it 100% is to have a terminal illness and that requires a DS1500 from the doctor.
When I was signing on, I faked 95% of my applications because their targets were impossible even back then.
Not sure what the penalties would be for getting caught, just don't be a faggot about it and no one will give a shit.
I don't have one, well not serious enough to get PIP. Bit of depression and anxiety maybe I'm a sperg as well but no diagnosis. Like I keep saying I worked on the phone lines answering questions to the customers that rang up.
Mate i had to do this for a bit before i found a job. I had to see the lady once a week. All i did was the day before apply for like 4 jobs and write some notes saying what i did then say i got a call back from like 2 and i am waiting to see what will happe. It was easy as fuck mate. Got a job tho so they are good
lol at all these faggots on NEET bux thinking they've got it sweet. I'm 22 and make £2k a month working flexible hours, free hotels, free meals + profit from travel expenses (occasionally extra £200 a month). Plus a load in the stockmarket getting me money for nothing.
It's an emotional rollercoaster, one second you'll be on the phone to a really nice customer being glad you can help them, the next you're being shouted at because someone got denied. The worst calls were the ones where people would threaten to commit suicide. Shit was stressful and make my depression and anxiety a hell of a lot worse. Funny thing is me being ill was the reason I got fired.
Just woke up from a glorious lay in, about to rustle up some steak and watch Game of Thrones on my 42 inch HDTV that you paid for.
Thanks for the cheese worker drones. Now get back to work. I need you to earn more so I can uy a car next week =)
Dont forget about your weekly begging meeting. Good doggie now go away boy. Oh we are going to cut back on your check, but doggie doesnt mind, doggie is good right boy? Good now beg!
Literally just said I've started my own business up there you fucking moron. So what if the government are helping me. And no, /i'm not ashamed. Now fuck off you compassion-less, un-empathetic cunt.
Can you recommend me a good job agencies in UK?
Right now, I'm looking for a job as a physiotherapy assistant but with no avail.
Here's some tits for motivation.
In Thailand they have a city that's infested with monkeys. They commit a shit tonne of crime, assaulting people, stealing and generally being shits. They worked out that the monkeys are content with very little and that it's actually less costly to just give them a couple of bananas everyday rather than deal with their shit when they get hungry.
Very similar to our benefits system.
Jelly that i can spend time on /b/ and pull double the money you have to beg for?
>yeah but youre a monkey drone, im living free
Oh really? I came into work 30 mins late, have only three things to do today, and will prob take an hour lunch and leave early. Jelly?
I work from home 2 days a week and the other 3 I spent in 4* hotels. All my meals are paid for. I work flexible hours and largely independently with 7 weeks holiday + bank holidays a year.
£2k a month + expenses
if you miss your weekly NEETbux meeting you don't get your £70 scraps for the week and have to sit in your shitty council house eating ALDIs rip-off cheerios for dinner
lol what a fucking hater sad clown you are. I'm jealous of the dude and you're jealous because you think having material bullshit is all that matters in life. Fuck you.
>kudos to my dude living that sweet life, good shit m8
It's likely he does though, most people on the unemployment in my country get 250-400 a week depending on circumstance. My flatmate gets 320 a week and can pay her rent and food costs, though she's lying to said agency about how high her living costs are, they're actually a lot lower. Guess it just depends on how well you can fuck the system.
You will always be miserable that you're not a real man.
You will also never have something which you crave. Stability. One day it will run dry and you will not only be penniless but so far behind the curve that you will spend your second half of existence as a min wage slave.
They may be parasites but it's a symbiotic relationship. We don't physically have enough decent jobs for the population, so we actually need people that are willing to take the hit and live on a third-worlders salary to make room for those who are actually capable of making money in the economy.
I use an addon called Universal Automation.
The whole 35 hour jobsearch a week depends entirely on the jobcenter you sign on at and the person youre signing on with, not being a complete entitled cunt or a chav also helps to ease the process.
I check the directgov website 3 times a week and usually apply for 2 - 4 jobs each time, sometimes i just find a job that requires you to email to apply and say ive applied for it when i really havent.
I run the addon most days since it can be run entirely in the background whilst you do other shit. You dont even have to say that youve applied for the jobs that it applys for since jobs that you apply for through directgov are automatically logged. I do still keep my activity history updated though since it does help in speeding the signing on process up.
Nah bro, I work 60 hours a week and live in the us. All I do is work and stress and I fucking hate it. I have a shitton of cash but don't give a fuck to spend it. Fuck this life. Wish I was poor and lived in a cabin away from this contrived rat race. An iPhone is not a reason to call yourself successful.. but you watch tv and think that's how life is supposed to be. You fool.
supply and demand, the less the supply of useful people (the more people on NEET bux) the higher the market value for those of us that are actually capable of being self-sustaining. That's providing we can placate them on £70 a week, which I find fucking amazing.
Don't watch TV. It's boring.
I can barely stand video games these days.
Get some hobbies you fucking loser.
It's easy and gets you pussy. How? You have shit to talk about and to introduce into some boring bitches life.
exactly, if you're smart about it, you can live a middle class life without having to work a day in your life. And we're smart because we use our free time to pursue our personal interests. For example, I just finished a financial trading course, I watched countless documentaries educating myself on whatever I want. I've nearly finished building a mini bar for my house because I had all that free time. People think I'm lazy because I dont work. And that literally couldnt be further from the truth. And one day, when they're 50 and they finally realise all that fucking time they wasted working for someone else, they will realise how stupid chastising people on benefits really is.
hah right dude. wish I could tell you who I am. anyway respect to my people who say fuck money. this planet was built on corruption aka interest. buffoons that think famous people "got lucky" when really, that shit has been determined years ago. I'm drunk and going to say too much but if,you're smart you got it hate all you want I'm famous you bitch AND I HATE IT
Actual wow. You think you're living the life, don'tcha? Really sticking it to the man.
You're so fucking ignorant you don't know it. You can't see how worthless and pathetic you are.
Enjoy your £112 riches, you fucking ass.
Yeah she's fucked if she gets kicked off, this town also has no jobs though so it's not like she can find one without moving. And I mean that in a "Literally no jobs available" sense, nobody will leave their job because of how few there are.
At least you're studying, doing stuff with your time is excellent. It seems most people don't realize that most people can be content with a simple lifestyle, in the end it doesn't matter if someone's upsetti that you're on a benefit, what the fuck are they gonna do about it? frown angrily?
Why say that like your winning? You are literally one tier up from a sandnigger on the dole. I'd rather my tax go to a fellow britbong than some lazy foreigner but seriously how do you cope being a sack of shit that should be hanged publicly?
Look, at all those successful people suddenly here. Trying to justify their entire being and existence. Especially trying to step over them to compensate their miserable life.
I do admit that I think that most of those welfare-nuts are doing it currently right. It all depends on personal preferences and needs. Here in germany for example you get an appartment paid, money for food and even heavily discounts for freetime activities.
It's not uncommon that many "jobless parasites" are living a better life than the 40-50 9-to-5 wagecuck. But it's nice to see how both parties are trying here to spit on eachother. Just do whatever you want.
It's preferable to being a 'wage-cuck' but imost people are on white-collar salaries where the positives massively outweigh the negatives of working.
Basically if you're comparing yourself to the average 16 year old working in mcdonalds, yes, being on NEET bux is winning
People like you are a cancer of the system.
When I was seriously ill, I had all my expenses paid for ~200 a week.
You know what I did? I did my best to get better and live a normal life.
People like you is why we can't a kind benefit system. Scum.
What? How the fuck am I a government puppet? I work 40hrs a well for a private company that allows me to rock up whenever I like, go on two hour lunch breaks, gives me 30 days holiday a year, and where I can happily sit on /b/ all day long. Oh, and it pays me £56,000 p/a.
Yeah, I'm a slave. You got me.
Anything exciting happening on Jeremy Kyle, today?
Had no idea the UK had so many niggers on welfare. It's shocking how many actually think their table scraps from the government are a good sum of money.
What's it's like being poor but pretending not be to be with all your might? Because you are poor. Very poor.
That's where you fucked up you coulda milked that shit but you're an idiot aka hero and heh dipshit fuck I'm drunk if I eat cereal after vodka will I toilet donate? Pls respond
I bet he wanted to state that even a regular job is nowadays not thta much sufficient. I know that in germany for example your 'average' job is not earning you much more than being on NEET bux hence the comparison. But it might be very different for germany. You really get here a lot of money for doing nothing. I don't know how its working in UK or USA.
Here you get about 400 Euro (550$) + everything (!) paid. It's way more than most EU workers like in Poland, Greece or somewhere else nerby is doing in an entire month
ah, someone who does not understand the buy to let market, or the cost of money. When you can borrow money cheaply to buy something you can rent out and pay the interest on, it makes no sense to put up your own capital - tying up that money in one house with low income instead of using it to pay small deposits on several flats or houses, and using rent to buy them for you.
My brother was going to try something similar to this, he didn't really think it through though as we've got a serious housing problem here.
If you're a cheeki breeki you can cheat the system and have as much money as someone with a job and less of the hassle. It's unfair as hell to the working man, yes, but in the end everyone is out for themselves.
You only manage to get more money than the average low paid worker though. Plus, I actually enjoyed working.
>currently unemployed waiting to go on a round the world trip for 2 years at the end of the month
>you couldn't do that on the dole
By looking for work I actually want to do.
And when I apply for really good jobs, that I want. I spend a day adjusting my CV and covering letter to suit it, and make sure my grammar, spelling and information is all up to date and correct.
Tell the job centre that that is what you were doing. Then they're happy.
And just have a generic CV and covering letter ready for small jobs which you can apply for now and then.
Just keep an eye out for what you want.
Applying for 3-4 shit jobs a week is fine.
And if you go and CV drop. Just pick 3 places to go that week and fine tune your CV and covering letter for each shop.
Just take your time with things.
It's pretty stupid that they expect you to do full time for such a feeble amount of money
But you can just lie on your job search stuff. Say you spent 5 hours using some jobsite. They accept it.
You clearly have never had money. Or passion, or any form of spark that would drive you to find out about other places, and their cost of living.
Yes, you can easily travel the world for months and months for £15k.
You enjoy your week in Benidorm, ok?
I wasn;t trolling, I was genuinely curious. Also if you scroll up and read one of my earlier comments, you'd see I employ people like him to make me money. £15k is nothing especially traveling the world as he claims lol. I plan to do the same and already have £75k (half my budget) ready for it.
Absolutely. I mean I'm currently not even doing what you would class as backpacking.
studio apartment with balcony and aircon w/ shared pool £180/month
eating out £150/month
that's like £405 fixed costs and i'm currently working with about £1600 a month. So about £40 a day for activities. Bearing in mind a beer here in a bar is like £1-£1.50 and a hooker for an hour is £20 or a night for £30
I earned almost £600 last week.
I earned more at my last job before I took voluntary redundancy.
Redundancy was just over 11k.
I'll take 2 years out retrain into software engineering and make waaaaaaaay more than that.
I don't blame people for doling it up lon term. If you can deal with the crushing existential emptiness good for you. I can't do that. I have to be doing something productive.
I just apply for 4-5 a week, through job apps, so about 10 or so are written down when I sign on every fortnight. Delete any emails offering interviews. My advisor is always like "wow, you're really trying"
Welp. After school (before entering University) I travelled a lot as well. Wagecucks still trying to justify "You won't experience what I experience".
Done that already. Now I'm earning a fair share of NEET bux with my EE masters and still travelling.
you were the one throwing accusations based of a genuine question. I wasn't trying to offend anyone. If you're mad over the fact I make more than you ever will then fine by me.
What defines productivity to you? keeping yourself distracted or collecting money? Or is it the hope that you'll eventually do something kickass and make something with your work? Not being a dickhead just wondering, as I have yet to find a job that makes me feel like I'm accomplishing anything. (Fucking barista, literally no other jobs around even though I have IT certifications and engineering skill, this country is suffering from such a lack of employment I'm considering moving elsewhere)
I've been on both sides of the fence here. Working now, hate the fucking place.
If you leave school and become benefits master what happens regarding old age/pension?
Are you going to have government subsidised rent all your life?
What happens if everyone in the UK takes your approach, then there's no-one to pay the benefits to you?
>(Fucking barista, literally no other jobs around even though I have IT certifications and engineering skill, this country is suffering from such a lack of employment I'm considering moving elsewhere)
Where are you from?
If you know your stuff, especially in IT, remote work is still a possibility which is well paid.
15k pounds is about $21k USD.
>Travel the world
Choose one. Unless you consider "the world" to be Europe and nothing else, then airfare alone will eat up most of that money to travel the WORLD.
>valid statement to someone who never travelled outside their country
>"You don't know what you're talking about"
You can fly from the UK to Bangkok for £200. Hardly a huge sum of money. You can get from Bangkok to Cambodia via train for £1 etc etc. You realise outside of 1st world countries everything is pretty fucking cheap? Flights aren't expensive either
I like the social interaction of work.
I wasn't super keen on the the details of my job but I have a pretty strong work ethic. The people I worked for and with were pretty good people. I worked as a quality controller in a brewery.
Jew Zealand. I'm employed but hate dealing with people which makes my job a fucking nightmare. All of our IT work is already outsourced from elsewhere and I've had fuck all luck in the field because we have an incredible amount of people who jumped aboard the IT train already, nearly every person who attends some form of university or course is doing it for a business or IT degree.
I've been on and off it for years.
I honestly don't know how anyone can be PROUD to be on it... I suffer from anxiety and depression and I'm still looking for jobs and wanting to be a productive, normal member of society.
If you collect JSA or UC you're seen as scum.
I feel like scum.
Nice, one example to one destination. What happens when you want to travel... you know... the rest of the world? Like you planned? The airfare traveling around the USA alone once you hit that part of the world will suck up half your 15k just moving around the states and seeing different places.
Then there is Russia, Japan, Australia, Iceland, Greenland, China, Africa, and more and more and more and more and moooooooooooooooore.
But please tell me how your 15k will take you around the fucking world, kek
I have't been on the dole since I went self employed, I actually stopped early because the they were getting stupid with how much shit they wanted written down, proof of applying etc (I was just sending pointless applications to fill the quota).
What's it like now?
You think to classify as being 'round the world' you have to literally visit every country? No, it pretty much just means circumnavigating the world. I flew from the UK to LA for £330 and the UK to Bangkok for £200. It's hardly a stretch to say that airfares all in might eat up, say, 15% of the budget at the most?
>You think to classify as being 'round the world' you have to literally visit every country?
Um, yeah, basically. They don't call it a "world tour" for just hitting a couple small places close to home. You're not exactly "seeing the world" by traveling to one location such as LA in the mass of land that is the USA, nor are you "seeing the world" by traveling to Bangkok, only one city in Thailand.
You're saying you want to travel the world but you're describing a couple short small trips to distinct locations.
In fact, I'm not even gonna say it's hardly a stretch, because that's literally all it is, under 15% of the budget. Maybe if you actually did it instead of just chatting shit about it you'd realise it's possible. It'd probably help if you understood the value of money too. You might when you move out of your parents house
No, you travel by land where you can and fly where you can't, I'm just giving you examples of the fact that it's not the 1960s anymore and you can fly for a relatively small sum of money because you're obsessed with how just the cost of flights alone will eat into any budget. What would be the point of flying everywhere you mong? Wouldn't you not get to see anything?
I can be social if I need to be, fairly decent at it, it's just something out of my comfort zone. The irony is that nearly all of my job experience has had something to do with customer interaction or service, i.e. cashier, barista, door guard for an unemployment office (Funnily enough). None of them have been utterly fantastic but in this economy any job is better than none.
lol, do they make you do it in the job office?!
Just don't do shit, then like 2 or 3 days before spend like 2 hours applying for all the relevant jobs online, chose maybe 15 or so, and make 2 or 3 phone calls. You're fucking done for the next 2 weeks.
Seriously, they don't give a fuck if you're doing a true 35 hours search. They just want you to apply for jobs. So apply for them.
>Travel by land
Good luck with that depending on what part of the world you're in. You'll either spend literally years walking the entirety of the USA alone, or spend an absolute fortune on a car rental, gas, food, lodging, etc along the way. And that is only one country. What about Canada? Same deal. What about Australia? Russia? Africa? How about all those locations and countries that aren't as civilized and don't offer much transportation?
I'll hand it to you that the Euro and Asian countries have easily used train systems and aren't hard to get around. But what about the rest of the world. For you know, traveling the WORLD?
>Worked every day since i was 14
>never took my holidays, always took the cash, all the overtime, shit was great
>had house, GF, everything i could want.
>4 years ago, Enviromental accident at work
>company kicked out
>Jobless but heavy skilled in the industry
>apply for everywhere, but many places wont take me on due to the enviromental thing with t he company
>Savings dwindle down to nothing
>start applying for anything locally, so does every other nerd in a 50m radius it seems.
>dont get hired due to the fact they can easily scare scumfags into minimum wage, intimidated by my skills, been told overqualified and all that shit.
>still no job
>have to get council house, sell a bunch of stuff while i'm at it.
>GF leaves me after 11 years
>new house, new town, no GF, no job
>cut grass and wash windows etc etc for money
>still have to sign on
>tfw i watch junkies walk in and out without proving anything, i meticulously fill out full job diary and everything
>ask them to chase up jobs and call me if they hear anything etc
>again, junkies and guys i've known signing on for 5+ years doing jack shit but smoking weed all day, getting all types of shit
>tfw i get "shopped" for working and signing on.
>tfw sanctioned for 16 weeks
>housing benefit stopped
>now in major arrears
I hate this country
Clearly they want us to all kill ourselves.
I'm sorry mate but you're just emotionally too invested with this 'transport is impossibly expenive and difficult' sentiment, it's actually really fucking easy and inexpensive. Not the mention you're way off the mark on what a round the world trip is. You're not obligated to see every single country/american state for you to go 'round the world'
>Heavy skilled in *only* that industry
>refused "crisis loan" because i was "working".
