Discuss your beliefs, ideology, conspiracy theories or any information you wish to share with us. Feel free to ask questions and we'll attempt to answer them.
The point of this thread is to pass on and spread knowledge to anyone who attempts to read it.
Keep arguing to a minimum and be opened minded. If you feel the need to call out someone I suggest you do in a polite manner.
Raptor Jesus is lulz.
Raptor Jesus is life.
What more need be said?
My belief is that there are no grand conspiracies. Conspiracies are a convient device used to explain things that people are typically too lazy to critically think about. It's my belief that we should all just pursue pleasure at all costs. Peace and love :)
Im 19 and had been a Christian my whole life until recently when I realized the error of my way.
I honestly believe the matrix exists, I haven't even seen the movie for those of you who think I'm just influenced by that. As a kid, I always realized patterns that make events occur, thus "coding" of the matrix.
Living in a world programmed by a matrix just seems most logical to me, as it might be a simulation for testing someone's mental health by throwing them into such a shitty chaotic world.
>but anything I can come up with to justify living a shit life on a shit planet with shit people right?
The knowledge of good and evil (speaking in good terms in a way whoch is intended to cause psychological harm to those who are privy to the mysteries) has convinced the populace to be passive aggressive assholes to the most vulnerable of us amd bring about the emotional setting for an absolute war of Armageddon.
With the over population of people on earth, I really so believe in population control. I.E. toxic ingredients in our foods, weather control, (natural disasters) tsunamis created just to name one. Some mann made diseases. ...
Holocaust was greaty exaggerated.
Jews control media and banks.
Hitler was a great leader.
You give humanity too much credit. By the time we as people realize there's something drastically wrong it'll be too late. There are no conspiracies. Conspiracies are an appeal to human nature to want want to believe in something greater than ourselves. There's no one pulling the strings. Sorry.
Let's suppose that you're right. Conspiracies are legit. So what if they are? They only gain traction by letting it give any sort of credence to your life. Just do your own thing. Who cares whatever else is happening. You're a human fucking being. You have the ability to shape your own world around you. Voting is a shame. Organized religion is a scam. Just do you /b/ro.
No. Why should I? The beings I created would have no impact on my existence. I could wipe them out and start anew whenever I desired. Why should I care, if I were God, what any being thought or didn't think of me?
I don't 'follow' anyone. I just live my life. I think natural disasters are way of the earth telling us that we're fucking it up. I'd hate to be that guy but this world is ending unless we do something about it. But fuck it, I'll be dead before that happens. Makes me feel pretty shitty sometimes.
And so what? They haven't taken me out. They haven't impeded my life. If it makes them happy to have delusions of grandeur, so be it. I'm just gonna live my life and do my thing regardless of whatever "conspiracy" is the flavor of the month. Fuck em
God lives in heaven because he is scared of what he created.
I agree, I'll say this now. Conspiracy theories are usually 99% of the time a distraction to keep you from finding the truth.
That 1% is what wakes people up. Usually there is a long trail you can follow.
ok. i suppose that's the only possible attitude... unless what if these conspiracies built cages of rules around your life just to keep you down? oh wait that happened already
You're totally right. Like when a guy named Wiener got busted sending pictures of his wiener. Whoever's doing this is just fucking with us.
>spread knowledge to anyone who attempts to read it
Knowledge has very specific requirements. Care to not confuse knowledge with faith, although they can be indistinguishable when analyzed deep enough. Care to not be lulled by the illusion brought upon by excessive faith.
Knowledge Wisdom Faith
Then create better conspiracies? Lol I mean I dunno man. I just know, I don't give a shit about conspiracies. I don't let it effect me in any meaningful way. The only reason they exist is because they are perpetuated by those in power in order to legitimize their power. Reject them all. It's all a shell game.
No, I get the joke.
However a major problem with certain religions is that they force it on the young to much and can be very strict in their teachings.
This is the main reason why I no longer follow the teaching's of my church.
I've know a lot of priests who would scold anyone who did not follow the words of the holy book.
Regardless of the extent of the holocaust, if we ignore morality, hitler is the epitome of effective leadership and nation building. He united a people to a common purpose and brought prosperity in an era of hardship. If not for the holocaust and the war he would probably be considered one of the most esteemed statesmen in the history of mankind.
that was a really bad example to use against me sarcastically, try harder
9/11 happens again, you will wave that flag and plaud that police in black gear just because it would be too outrageous not to do it.
disregarding conspiracies is like saying you're not affected by fashion. everyone is affected by it, and they dont even realize it
If I was offered the chance I would join. Depending on which group offered me the position. The one group i would never join would be the rebel elite. If anything the globalist is a group id work for.
And if my aunt had balls I'd call her my uncle. As much good as hitler did he scapegoated a group of people that really didn't have anything to do with Germany's hardships. It was a red herring. The real cause of Germany's issues was the effects of the treaty of Versailles, not the damn kikes.
I wasn't trying to criticize or judge. Just curious because I have been recently looking into joining a Nazarene Christian Church. Raised Catholic and that turned me off to God for a long time..
god here, i know you guys think im some random 20 year old from italy but i made a law where none of us can help the mortals, but look ill say this plain and simple to end all confusion.. bush did 9/11
Nah. I was in college during 9/11. If anything, I realized that at that time those buildings were hit was not for "our freedoms" but because of this nations foreign policy, which I have literally no effect on regardless of who I vote for.
I understand that, my grandfather left the catholic church and we're all protestant since then. Go wherever you feel led, although I must say that non-denominational church has helped me grow most in my faith. Prayer and scripture always, too
You know damn well he went apeshit over versailles as the instrument of germany's state of affairs. He just happened to blames the commies and kikes for selling out germany from inside the government. Blaming the old imperial regime would have been political suicide since the weimar republic was an impotent piece of shit that paled in comparison to the prussian powerhouse that was the second reich.
>believe in yourself
>i.e. a temporal, evolved talking ape controlled by chemical reactions in the brain
>equating self-esteem to philosophical speculation of the origins/truth of the universe
>not thinking beyond "me, myself and i"
typical bubble wrapped 9-5'er. you exist to do nothing but eat, sleep and shit. just kill yourself you useless fucking biobot
You basically stated the same exact thing I stated but using sarcastic green text. The exception being, my solution is to live as fulfilling life as possible, while you suggest "killing myself". Ok, good job.
I'm agnostic atheist. I don't believe that any one being created the universe and I believe everything can be scientifically explained, if not now then in the future. If I were to get 100% proof that there was, without a doubt, a god then I'd believe, but I just don't.
no. you said to believe in yourself and not the matrix.
>not realizing you can believe in yourself AND the matrix
people who can't think beyond themselves and their irrelevant state of affairs (i.e. you) need to fuck off from threads like this and discussions about philosophy, religion, ideologies, etc
We are but grains of sand in a vast, infinite desert
Life ultimately has no meaning, no reason, no purpose. The futile search for meaning is what causes people to enact suffering upon themselves, and others
As someone who understands this, I feel the only responsible action is to do everything within my power to help alleviate the suffering caused by this ignorance
I sometimes think about how something living at the bottom of the ocean has no idea of our existence. That insects in the jungle live lives never knowing about us.
Then sometimes I wonder if we're an insect. If we only think that we're the dominant species because nothing has shown itself. I think that there's other life out there and it would be ignorant to think otherwise.
try me: atheist/agnostic fascist socialist who hates islam and hates virtually all other faiths but not as much as islam and who is autistic and pretty damn retarded. Im also italian, dutch, german, mexican in my lineage.
I'm not an atheist dick splash. I've accepted I'll never know if there is a god or not. Obviously, if he pops his giant cock out the sky and slaps me round the face with it.
I'll probably start believing, all I'm saying.
Alright anons. Wanna know the truth about all of this? I give to you the logical explanation of the universe.
We live in a universe run by logic. Things must happen for other things to.
for a house to be there, there must be a builder. Everything has a reason, per say. Everything that follows this can be logically figured out.
In the very beggining, before time and space, we can assume there was nothing. Nothingness is a concept, something that doesnt actually exist. Refer to any mention of nothingness existing as a concept.
In the beggining, nothing existed. Where there is nothing, there are NO LAWS. Of physics, of logic, of anything. Literally anything can happen. So literally everything DOES happen. Theres a 100% chance of every single possibility happening, and they all do happen. A paradox of sorts.
Nothingness, creates something out of an impossibility. This ties in with the multiverse theory, that every single possibility exists within another universe.
There were no laws that said an "impossible" thing couldnt happen, so it did. An infinite number of them did. We currently reside in one of these possibilities. I cannot tell you if there is a god or not, or what created humans, but I can explain to you how existance comes to be.
Electrons are proven to move in and out of 3rd dimentenal reality.... And what is our brains but a network of super electrons? So our brains act kinda as a conduant for our minds (soul) that exist both in 3rd dimentional reality and in the non physical (after life) simultaneously
I personally believe that there is nothing supernatural about the universe, our origin, or anything else.
I believe that all life is meaningless, and that everything, even including our own morality and interactions, are meaningless.
That being said, why do we need purpose to continue existing?
Do we really need a REASON to continue? Or should we just continue and have the best life we possibly can?
I say that while we may be meaningless, we may as well enjoy our meaninglessness.
I also believe that morality is very subjective, but is something that we form naturally. From the first time we accidentally cut our arm on a twig or something, we realize that pain exists, and we can gather, through very simple reasoning, that other creatures of our species, and of other species, can also feel pain. Same goes for emotional pain, if we can feel it, others can feel it, as well.
We realize that these pains are not pleasant, so why would we inflict these pains onto others? Even if it's for personal gain, the knowledge that you're putting someone else through pain is bothersome because we likely know what this pain is like, and, as such, we have sympathy for that person, it's a natural human trait.
Take a look here anon.
It is all meaningless. But who cares? We have fun with it anyway and not care about not caring. Learning to live in godmode. Being happy with mere existance.
you do realize you cant be fascist and socialist at the same time right? you are either fascist (AKA. national socialist) or socialist. But the two ideologies are on opposite ends of the political spectrum, therefore incompatible.
>not realizing he's hinting at antinatalism
"A coin is examined, and only after careful deliberation, given to a beggar, whereas a child is flung out into the cosmic brutality without hesitation."
- Norwegian philosopher Peter Wessel Zapffe
"It seems to me that a naturalist who squarely and in full awareness faces the fact of evil ought to be a pessimist and an anti-natalist. If he is not, then I suspect him of being in denial or else of believing in some progressive 'pie in the future.' But even if, per impossibile, some progressive utopia were attained in the distant future, it would not redeem the countless injustices of the past."
- Philosopher Bill Vallicella
There is no beginning or an end. You are entitled to what you wish to believe. However I hope you look deep into yourself and open new doors and expand yourself.
Ignorance is bliss until you grow bored of where you stand
I feel like this thread is about to end.
So I must say that looking at the intelligence of some of you I begin to wonder. Do you still need help from 'them'?
someone in here knows the answer to this and id like to hear it...
That humans are the worst thing to happen to this planet's ecosystem and will eventually drive our species to extinction. Also that OP is always a faggot fuckin bitch that asks stupid questions. Oh and God is bullshit and religious people are brainwashed fucktards.
Ducking hell I had a whole thing typed out and it disappeared.
I've been; hung (by myself), blown up (from my head), transported, teloported, executed (by a gun),re-born( literally i was in a womb with someone/something else), lost my lower half when being teleported, kicked in the chest by something that looked like an angel, dragged to hell for 437 cycles where I worked together with a giant insect to eat a giant to death from the inside, raped by a pack of roaming succubi and incubi, and have fucked/been fucked by ghosts.
Yet here I am struggling to write a resume. What a fuckin joke.
not really antinatalist, just assessing current world conditions and obviously reducing the population is better than increasing it, but i still want a kid bc ego and passing on genes etc.
Its of little use unless youre willing to give up your human emotions and accept that everythings meaningless, and to treat life as a meaningless game played on god mode. Infinite respawns.. each respawn you lose knoweledge of godmode.. so you can have fun again for a while. Until you wind right back up where you are right now.
The real trick is to win even godmode by figuring out that youre playing this game, and then being happy with it. Thats the only way to really "win". To become happy with merely existing.
A bunch of people just need to be exterminated
Not because they're "useless eaters" or don't make money or something, that's stupid. I'd gladly pay for someone not to die if their only flaw was that they don't have money
It's because they intentionally inflict harm on others, and they have a billion excuses and lies to cover it up, and they keep going on and doing it. They don't have a dramatic life changing moment like the people on tv. They just keep on being stupid forever and laughing about it, while ever more ludicrous amounts of suffering go on around them. Apparently they think if they just destroy everything, it magically solves all their problems
If a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound?
If the universe is created with a Big Bang does it also make a sound? Or give light if there is no consciousness present to see it? I think it's all just code, and all this matter is literally energy.. Which it is, we weren't brought into this universe, we came from it. We are the universes way of perceiving itself. What if we are the universe and every little living organism is experiencing itself individually? Or what if we are just higher primates? And that's it.. No point to life, the universe will eventually die anyways? What's the point? Thus... The past nor the future matters, we don't live in the past or future, every moment of our lives we have lived in the present moment, so fuck the past and future, you live right now.. Ultimately the greatest thing that matters is this present experience, and that is all.
THATS SO FUCKING WACK.. I buy it to a degree and have for awhile. but I find myself less and less ok with it.
I believe that human nature itself is filthy. Thus human species, no matter how hard we try, will perish, and should perish.
If I had nuke or a trigger to end all humanity, I'd do it without any hesitation.
I believe that nobody is holding all the strings in the geopolitical or economic sphere, and that the world as we know it is the result of multiple competing national and corporate interests. If Illuminati ran this shit it wouldn't be such a clusterfuck of warring states, economic backbiting, political double dealing, and overall tomfuckery.
I believe that human nature itself is filthy. Thus human species, no matter how hard we try, will perish, and should perish.
If I had nuke or a trigger to end all humanity, I'd do it without any hesitation.
Why? We are the dominant species of this planet.. Think about that. No other animal can do what we do, for fucks sake we created the Internet, we can talk to people around the world, access to information, we are abundant in resources (though we will eventually run out). Explain how we are "filthy"? Because we trash the environment? Some humans still act like mindless apes? Don't forget we are higher primates.. Wiping us out would be a huge mistake.
I'll give you an explaination of what my belief is.
My belief on the beginning is like the infinite loop, it had no beginning and no end.
I believe in all realities which I've come across, the: believe in everything and nothing kind of deal.
This universe has rules in which we have to follow while in other realities some of these rules don't apply. Beyond the dimensions we know (10th) we reach back to where we started the first dimension and begin a new.
This is but a piece of what I believe. Evidence? It's all around us, we just need to pay attention.
Nothing happens by coincidence.
Aliens exist. Trump is a lizzard alien. FEME is the got behind the govt. A massive virus will be released by aliens and FEMA will take over. Civil rights will cease to exist. Homesexuality is praised and deceased that prevents conception in an attempt to reduce population. Prove me wrong faggets
I think humans should die i dont want humanity to go extinct i want utopian future. But...thats never gonna happen and the world is overpopulated so time to hit the reset button a nuke is overkill radiation is a bad idea to add. Meteor or extreme climate change period is better.
well of course you can. it fucking sucks not believing in heaven. heres some contribution: we can only comprehend things our brain can compehend, like how we cant imagine colors we cant see, our ideas of heaven are all just twists of earth
We are rapidly depleting resources and causing an over abundance of pollution. Humans have made progress but have been a clear detriment to the planet and all other forms of life on earth.
I myself am very ready to combine my body with technology. The first thing I am wanting is a robotic heart. That way all I need to do is keep the brain healthy.. and the body will keep going. Maybe not the whole thing. But the concious part. Atleast until I can get the rest of robotic limbs.
It's an easier way to say "each and everyone one of us is tiny and insignificant when compared to all the lives that have lived, are living, and will one day live"
I like to talk the talk, but I still need to walk the walk. I do what I can when able, but there's a lot of room for improvement. Always be critical of your own thoughts and actions
Sure, I'd love to share these ideas with people. The best way to eleminate suffering caused by ignorence is by eliminating said ignorence. But that's not something I can just "do". No one likes being preached to
To do good, to help alleviate suffering, all that's needed is an open mind and an open heart. Listen to people, be compassionate, actively empathize with others and try to feel what they feel
Would you get behind a more altruistic form of hedonism? Biology says I'm here to have kids and raise them to be successful, even when faced with self-sacrifice. I can get behind that; I think that making people I love happy makes me happy and will be enough to keep me happy for all my life. You feel me?
I believe that intelligent life has been here on earth even before the dinosaurs. I believe that Antarctica and the oceans have more than meets the eye.
I believe the pyramids have a deeper meaning than we understand.
>Gods are only as powerful as the amount of energy and interest they receive from humans (and other beings.)
>Reality is an illusion and with effort can be changed, if only for yourself.
>The best path is that of balance, though imbalance is much easier.
Of course, I'm schizo, so no one should listen to me.
I believe no religion is right, alone. I imagine a "heaven" where all the religions are correct. Like Jesus chilling in a hot tub with Buddha and Zeus eating some fine spaghetti from the big flying monster himself. Just a big fuckery of gods.
